That's definitely true, and I know that, and for the people who view it as a "freak show" that makes me sad, and those are the same people who look at someone overweight and just assume that they've never exercised a day in their life, and that they eat nothing but McDonalds all days long (which I know is true for some…

I watch a lot of TLC shows (my mom watches that channel a lot so it's just on a lot in our house). My 600lb life makes me kind of sad, because of how so many of the people have gotten to that point, despite a loving support system. There's no reason for it in most of the cases. On the flip side I also watch my Big Fat…

Welcome aboard! The road is tough, full of obstacles, bumps and detours but just stay the course and you will get there! Good luck to you...and to all of us! There is great support here.

that's amazing...what is your gym routine like (and more what was it like when you first started?)

I'm totally in the same boat. I have a serious food addiction, particularly to sweets, and once I have a craving, I have to get it, otherwise it kind of consumes me. lol. From the sounds of your story, it seems like you're really on the right track, you're working out like crazy (I just started working out too) and that…

great story...I hope your ex just eats his heart out at seeing what you have been capable of....you deserve someone who loves you for you!

wonderful post! This is my favorite line: 7. It’s doesn't matter how much I can’t do, I’ll do what I can do and still lap those doing nothing! Well said :)

You look awesome. What an accomplishment in less than a year! You are clearly very strong! Keep it up :)

So amazing! I hope to be posting a success story like yours one day! Congrats on this great accomplishment!

you look great! Congrats. I can't wait to get to where you are. As for the exercise, I think once you make it part of your mindset that you just need to, it just becomes a habit...try to set a goal for yourself, you've clearly done such a great job already, just keep up the activity!

That's awesome! I hope to build up to a 5K soon! Good luck to you, I'm sure you'll be great, especially with all that support!

I completely understand your story. My mother has COPD, Type 2 Diabetis and is on oxygen 24/7. She was in the hospital last year, and then had to stay in a nursing home while she recovered from some procedures. She lost about 200 pounds while she was in, but at over 400 she is still pretty overweight, and she can't really…

wow you look great! Even ten years younger. Congrats on your loss :)

Great pics, and story. You are so right, I've spent so much time not doing what I should because I was going to start tomorrow, next week, on monday...whatever. You are inspiring! Great job!

I havent had processed sugar since about the 4th day of January...I'm trying to cut sugar and slowly cut carbs (that's been the hardest part) but super proud of myself for not caving into the sweets, especially at my Aunt's birthday party last Saturday!

That's awesome! I say good for you, whatever you needed to do to jump start you on the road to being healthy, and it sounds like you're doing great!

Way to go!

My goal is to lose about 150 as of now. I have been on and off this site for the better part of two years, never really been able to get it together, but I'm ready for this now, and I'm here. Long Haul, Let's do this!

Hi Everyone, thanks for the comments, in all honesty, I started becasue I feel that I get a lot of calories from Breakfast, and it didnt stop me from still eating a good size lunch and dinner, so I thought it would make sticking to my daily calorie goal easier, and just wanted to be sure I was doing the right thing by…

I understand, I am the same age, and with my job you have to go out to lunch at least once a week, and happy hours are very encouraged, so I end up going out to eat a lot, and not only is it hard on my wallet, it's hard on my diet as well! Ususally I try and choose places that I know have heathier options, for example:…

Hey girl, i have the same issue, I started around your same weight, and I have lost almost 20lbs and I have not gone down a size. It can be frustrating, especially because my BFF is also losing, and because she is only 5'4, and I'm 5'9 you can see changes in her way more drastically than me (i also have a lot more to…
