  • It sounds like you have a solution already, but I'll chime in with my two cents. When I get stuck in a similar situation, I go to the grocery store and buy a little container of pre-cut fruit, a string cheese, and a little package of nuts or crackers. Does the trick! It's definitely more expensive than bringing my own…
  • I run in the morning--first thing, so it's before I eat or drink *anything*. For a while, I was getting really nauseated while running--even on an empty stomach--but I think it was just my body getting adjusted to working out. It's much better now, but I still can't drink anything right after my workouts. I have to wait…
  • Butter!! I use far less now than I did when I started MFP, but I'm ever going to give it up completely.
  • I work 3/4 time right now, so it's easi*er* (not necessarily easy) to get my running/walking in. But when I was still working full-time I walked on my lunch breaks and snacked on my lunch throughout the day.

  • One of my favorite grab-and-go foods (not a meal, though) is string cheese. Good calcium, relatively low calories, and individually packaged.
  • I've been on the mini-pill since my youngest (now five years old) was born. It seems to work, seeing as how he's still the youngest.
  • I hate salads too--lots of work for very little reward. Glad I'm not the only one!
