  • Personals today- I finally have a few minutes to do some! I have missed you guys. Thank you for the kind words. I am trying to keep in positive spirits, which is normally very easy for me...but since last week has become very hard to find the silver lining in the cloud. Hubby and I talked last night and he has the same…
  • @skinny no, not because of the calories. My husband has just finally come to realize that he is an alcoholic. I'm extremely happy about this and extremely depressed as well. He is going on 5 days sober and while he has been as pleasant as possible under these conditions, I am not holding up so well. There was a very…
  • I am not dealing well with things and could use some advice. This whole "new change" deal has just turned me into a raving lunatic. Any advice on how to shut my mouth off would be great. I am just 3 thin threads away from exploding at any given time at home.
  • Well, here it is: 1:05 in the AM and the birds are chirping away like no other. I think they must be so confused. Weightloss has been coming along slow and steady and I'm excited to see that quite a few of us are losing together! The family had quite the rough wake up call this weekend with a new huge personal change in my…
  • Still here and kicking butt. Love all the new profile pics. Will update in a bit. Work computer is not typing well.l
  • Glad to see you back on here :) We're shooting for the same goal!!
  • Grandma & KJeffries I think it is so sweet and unique to be able to see the great/grand kids through your eyes. I remember being very young and visiting my great grandparents/grandparents at their homes or (for my grandpa) the nursing home and I remember my mother making me sit and talk with all the older people who were…
  • rachael love the new pic!!
  • Crazy is Florida drivers. I love them but during snowbird season it's nothing but miles and miles of Qtips driving sedans...glad snowbird season is *almost* over. I love them, but I had a man with glaucoma drive his dog to the vet and then tell me that he didn't drive at night because he couldn't see so well and he…
  • So excited! I walked Dirk today (on the Easywalker Harness) so no more pinch collar for him...he's graduated! And he did beautifully and then my old man, Roscoe, and I walked but "ran" at every opening...so every street opening or ever driveway we ran past and then walked when there was lawn. Never realized how many…
  • My NSV for the day: Hubby brought home cupcakes and chinese food today for the family for lunch. I ate a little bit of bourbon chicken and only 1 eggroll and 0 cupcakes. Normally, I would just shove it all in and keep going. I'm finding that I don't even want it right now. I don't have that "have to eat it all" ravenous…
  • Toots, tell me about it! This thread is moving so quickly, I can't keep up! I cannot believe the luck with your husband- I almost wrote this in the last post to you but I edited it out- my friend that had similar symptoms as your hubby actually had 3 blood clots in his right leg. PLEASE be persistent with this. My friend…
  • @skinny Chili Cheese dip sounds soo good. Our vet was going to order food here at work and of course, an emergency came in. Not that I mind, but I have 1000calories left and it feels like $ burning a hole in my pocket. I will log that cookie now! (and I'm starving...)
  • Hey ladies! @mow, sorry about your back hun, i hope you feel better. @lin my back does that too sometimes? It is BLOWING like no other here! How crazy is that. It stormed earlier and then we got an emergency in and now the wind is just hollerin' and won't quit. I'm hoping my car will still be there when I leave tonight! :)…
  • Hey all and welcome welcome newbies!! @Des...you are speaking my language! I LOVE WoW...right now I'm playing Diablo III. Loved I&II and finding III to be awesome as well, but I know what you mean about hiding from responsibilities, those games sure are enticing  But sometimes it is awesome to just get away from it…
  • @skinny i understand now lol i thought you were using it on him...weird day to talk about sprays tho, my friend was just showing me yesterday about an air can that she uses called "dog corrector" it just releases a very LOUD rush of air (not to be pointed at the dog) to startle them. She tried it with Dirk and he just was…
  • @Skinny & Grandma - I definitely understand, unprovoked bites are dangerous and definitely with little ones around. For some reason I was thinking they might be older- around 5 or so. I am all for the use of other training tools, sprays and the like. Glad that it worked with Gunner. He seems like a smart cookie! Would love…
  • @rachael - I couldn't afford 160 a week...you might as well buy the insanity and save your $. You're getting results on MFP w/o the work out. But on the other hand, if I COULD afford it...I would. updated: I'm sorry he gave you such attitude! guess he wasn't in it for the right reasons. UGH! updated: sorry to hear about…
  • Hey all!! Well that last week and a half really kicked my butt!! I binged sooo hard on stuff it was really bad. So I threw a giant pitty party and now I'm over it (I think). I cooked a whole chicken and got my fav salad blend so I can make a quick salad for work. And also got some soups to take with me so I quit ordering…
  • Hey guys. It's Saturday and I'm trying to be in better spirits. I think sleep helped some. Looking forward to seeing my college roommate and her daughter. Today I cleaned out my closet and found clothes that were over 10 years old. Crazy! They were still in good shape so we're going to donate them. I don't have that many…
  • :explode:  :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :grumble: :noway: :noway: :noway: :noway: Nevermind, it's them.
  • I typed out a HUGE thing and MFP was "down for maintenance" SO anywho, here's the jist- 1.) Hooray for the losses! :drinker: 2.) Sorry about the break in:sad: 3.) I like starbucks too much! I will look into Skinny Macchiatos.:drinker: 4.) I did not exercise today or yesterday because I could not conceivably carve…
  • Hey all! Just finished catching up reading everything wow that was a LOT! I'm officially on week 2 of Insanity and 4 days in. Last week, i couldn't even catch my breath through it. This week, no trouble breathing, just trouble with my muscles giving out. Kind of feeling like I haven't been giving it my all since last week…
  • Susan, I was just thinking that same thing. Hubby and I have been "grandfathered" into the unlimited plan with the 1400 minutes and *truly* unlimited data/texting. We use that A LOT but as far as our minutes, we only use about 400. I was wanting to switch to something cheaper but can't find anything.
  • I really like this picture...seems like a great time to share it!
  • Just to let everyone know...I logged onto my Verizon Wireless account today and saw that they had awesome prices on the FITbit and the Fitbit/sleep. The Fitbit was 44.99 and the fitbit w/ sleep monitor was 74.99
  • @rachael I'm thinking of getting a fitbit. It would be nice to know if I am really burning all those 600 cals that MFP says I'm doing when I log my Insanity workout. I think some days it's a 'give n take' type deal. @susan awesome loss! @butterfly I drink my water plain as well.:drinker: If I'm doing cardio, I will…
