The best way to track calories burnt during workouts is to wear a heart rate monitor. They're more accurate than the cardio machines and then you can see how many you've burnt while lifting weights as well =D

The exercise bikes are good when youve got knee injuries if you keep the load slightly lower, also the cross-trainer/elliptical is good because there is no impact on the knees. Anything in the water will be fine too, swimming, water jogging etc :)

I have a side fringe that doesnt reach a pony tail. grrr! so i braid my fringe over the top of my head and then put the rest of my hair into a bun at the back. just like a pony but only pulled halfway through. it works and its easy to redo in the middle of a workout if it starts to fall out and get in my eyes.

simply, you ate to much and ate a little bit late so your body has most likely stored that meal instead of processing it properly. Dont fret to much about it and just stick to your cals and things will come right again. :)

It's definitely a personal thing, MFP and nutritionists can only offer a guide of what they think will help you towards your weight loss, if only eating 1500-1700 calories a day is working for you and your losing weight healthily then I'd stick to it.
