59 yo here. Have lost 53 pounds since January. Everyone tells me I look much younger since my weight loss (can see it in my face). I do know that I feel a heck of lot better since the pounds are gone and my knees and joints are singing the hallelujah chorus. Determined to stay within my goal weight but finding it much more…

Me too, only now living in WA State.

For those who live closer to Oregon; Tillamook Cheese Factory (in, of all place, Tillamook, OR) has a cheese shop and sells curds (yummy in small doses)

^^ditto, that^^

Washington State (where it really doesn't rain ALL the time) :glasses:

^^^ This. I use Jack Daniels Old #7 Mustard - just the right spices and kick; 10 calories/Tbsp

Ditto. Have lost 50 lbs on WW since joining in Jan '12. They set me on my journey and headed me down the path of sound judgement, and better choices in weight loss (mind you I attend the weekly meetings and do not participate in their online program). I use their point system in conjuntion with MFP and have surpassed my…

Kettle Chips. Once a month, 1 serving - that's it!!

Office job (executive asst for a health care org). I always select sedentary as life style since the majority of my day (except on the weekends :) is spent sitting although I do go up and down stairs several times a day I don't factor that in. It sounds as if you have a pretty active day all things considered

We eat out at least twice a week at a variety of restaurants (a lot I know) and I usually select foods that I like but that are within my calorie limits; however, I have disciplined myself to always ask for a "to-go" box when my meal is served and then put at least 1/2 of my plate in the box. Odd thing is, I usually ending…

Each morning, before showering, after peeing and naked as a jaybird (old grandma saying). Since I belong to a weight loss program, I only *record* my loss once a week on Monday nights.

Savannah born, So FL raised, now living in WA State; so ummm, yes.

Have lost 38.5 pounds in 4 months with a constant loss each week. Still have 15 pounds to go to be at my goal weight so think I am doing fairly well since I didn't really set a "due by" date to begin with. Feeling great and my knees have stop screaming at me ;) so it's working for me.

Dawn, I weigh myself each morning and evening and have recorded weigh-in's each Monday night (I belong to a weight loss program). I actually record my morning weight each day but use my recorded weight on MFP. I think this is a common practice especially for those of us new to weight loss. I wouldn't be concerned unless…

Met; fell in love; married after knowing each other two weeks; celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary last January. Writing a book.

Self satisfaction; knowing that I acheived what I set out to do.

I totally agree. A co-worker told me the other day she could really see my weight loss because I had worn a top that was not so loose fitting (holding out buying new clothes tho until I hit my goal ;)

I am a current member of WW and have lost 29.2 pounds since late Jan; clearly it is working for me - so no "dishing" here (pun intended). Having said that, I also want to note that I have made dramatic changes to my eating habits and intake portions (more fruits and veggies, lean meats, water, water, water) but have yet to…

I'm in. Already down 30 but looking at 20 more to get to my goal weight. And like you, finally incorporating the fitness into the equation. Ready to get started!

Been there; done that; and after 28 years still wearing his t-shirt:

^^ yep!

Same here - ESPECIALLY Kettle Chips!

Same here. I have been on WW since end of January and have lost 28 pounds to date. However, I am not using their online program so can't comment on that. For me it's all about the accountabiliy so I use MFP to track the calories then use that to track my points. FOR ME, WW is working . . .

Not really interesting other than to simply look at myself in the mirror each day knowing that I completed the weight loss journey that I started! It's not bad having co-workers tell me how good I look either ;)
-
Me too. Haven't really cut out anything I like - BUT drastically cut how much I eat of it!!

Interesting topic and conversations. Considering the fact that I had one of mine removed (due to BC) and rebuilt from my rectus abdominis muscle, I'm happy with what I have no matter the size and they are shrinking with my weight loss :). Although I have to admit those sit ups are building one heck of a boob on my left…

Thanks one and all for your candid feedback both pro and con. For now, I will stick with WW by making some lifestyle changes that seem to be working for me. Here's to everyone being successful at whatever weight loss path you choose.:flowerforyou: Cheers
