  • So how did everyone's first day go!?
  • Hi, well it is 4:30 almost here on the east coast and no responses from ldymirage615, raj86 and gilesmercer. I'm guessing at this point we are safe to replace for The Bod Squad?
  • Welcome to the Team! Glad that you found us. Our first mini challenge for this week is going to be to exercise 5 days this week. Whether it is 10 minutes on the treadmill or walking or a 4 mile run. The most important thing in this week is to just keep our bodies M O V I N G .
  • Hey everyone! So ... challenge day is here .... NO JOKE. How about for the first week we all commit to work out 5 days this week. We are THE Bod Squad ... we can totally win this!
  • Thanks; also I heard from rainydays5 and ShawanaRaeDunn .... they couldn't find the group so I sent the link. We should hear from them shortly I am sure! Edited to add: ldymirage615, raj86 and gilesmercer - none have accepted friend request or responded to my messages.

  • Hi Lindsay @Linziyo ! I will have your day updated for you! Some of the mini challenges we have done in the past would be: * Workout at least 5 days that week * Workout at least 30 minutes each day that week * Walk 1 mile a day that week * No junk food that week Those are just some that I have participated in. But…
  • I have sent messages to everyone on our team who has not weighed in. And connected as friends with all but 3 of them. Hopefully we get everyone updated by end of today.
  • Good Morning fellow teamies! Just a reminder that we need starting weights for a few of you yet! I would like to have mini challenges for our group (I've done this in previous challenges and it worked great) and would love for you to share some ideas of challenges you would like to have. I also wanted to share…
  • You are welcome! We are going to have fun!!
  • Hi everyone! My name is Michele and I'm captain for The Bod Squad!
  • I have an Up Move fitness tracker and it syncs to the UP app. Its a great way to track steps, weight, sleep AND it connects directly to MFP which is awesome. The fitness tracker was around $25 and then I bought the wrist strap for it (it comes which a clip but I like wearing as a watch). But you can then hook up with…
  • Does anyone else use the UP app and tracking? If so, feel free to add me - Michele Kazlaski.
  • If you still need a captain for our team just let me know.
  • Hi everyone! :) I'm Michele, live in Northeast PA and am 41 with 2 boys ages 13 and 10. I work from a home office and my kids are cyber schooled. And I just might be one of the most challenged person here due to multiple autoimmune disorders and I love showing how no matter how sick you are ... there is NOTHING you cannot…
  • I would love to be included. If the group is too large what about having teams?
  • Hi, First make sure that your doctor is checking more than just your TSH. TSH checks your pituatary gland - NOT your thyroid. If your TSH is in "normal" range (for me I actually do better when mine is below the lab normal range) and you are still having symptoms (such as weight gain, fatigue, hair loss, etc) then you need…
  • Hi. I was Dx'd w/ hypothyroidism and Hashimoto's almost 2 years ago. I asked my doctor that exact question and was told that I just needed to eat healthy. The only food "direction" was to take my Synthroid and Cytomel first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach and to not take calcium or vitamins for at least an hour…
  • Wow, okay I feel better. I am SOOOOO not alone. It's awful to be sitting here and thinking or feeling that I am just lazy. I should just push through this.
  • I was diagnosed 2 years ago with hashi's and hypothyroidism. That is awesome that you are getting help. 2 months ago my TSH was 125.0 (sadly, not my highest) and I was switched from Levothyroxine 175mcg to Synthroid 200mcg and told to keep taking Cytomel (which is straight T3) at 10mcg a day. My TSH came down to 35 6 weeks…
  • 2 years ago, before I shattered my leg, I lost 45 pounds and went down 2 sizes.
  • Thanks everyone. I have started the 10mcg Cytomel a day and I took both in morning yesterday. I felt like a disaster hit me. So taking suggestions from some others on it, I took 5mcg last night around 10 and then the Levo and 5mcg Cytomel this morning (talked to a RN prior to taking the 5 last night and she said go for it;…
  • My cousin's ex-husband's best-friend's sister has a boyfriend who's mother's uncle's is a Grease Monkey... does that help? LOL
  • Keeping up with the Kardashians..... sad but true.
  • Thanks, I am actually on 175mcg of Levothryoxine and just started today (after complaining - and yes, nurse said "He says since you keep complaining about not feeling well to try this") Cytomel 5mcg twice a day - supposed to take both in morning with the Levothyroxine but OMG, did that today and felt awful. Someone else…
  • Awe thank you! :flowerforyou:
  • Update: Just received TSH = 1.1 (normal .4 - 4.0) and FT4 - 1.45 (normal .8 - 1.76). Notice no Free or Reverse T3. Endocrinologist still will not test it because "I relented and test FT4 when you asked even though I knew the TSH told us what I needed to know". Yeah; nice huh? So, I called primary and he is running an…
