Hi I always used to want snacks whilst watching tv. I now keep my nail varnish in a drawer by the sofa. If i feel a craving come on i paint my nails :laugh: I can't then do anything til the varnish dries, and by then all cravings have passed. Also - have a glass of water, as we often mistake thirst for hunger!!

oooh good topic...sounds good! we're havng - roast leg of lamb stuffed with herbs, butternut squash, green beans, broccoli, carrots and roast potatoes. Dessert - pavlova with strawberries. Its my first roast dinner since xmas but planning lots of bike rides over the long weekend to compensate.

fyi - was chattig to the a really lovely sales girl in our local store yesterday - and she was telling me that the online prices + delivery charges are designed to be the same as the in store prices, which i felt was good to know. i still have a way to go but having lost 21lbs heres my ist of NSVs: being able to twiddle my wedding ring around as its getting looser seeing my collar bones again being able to cycle up hill without having to go down to the lowest gears! getting rid of half my wardrobe of clothes as they dont fit

ive lost 21lbs to date ( 7lb on mfp) and had to buy new workout pants ( trousers) when i had to hang onto the waistband through my zumba class to stop them falling off!! Ive bought new jeans along the way as my old ones looked like pyjamas, and have had so many people notice my loss since i have had trousers that fit!…

Thankyou so much for starting this thread. Have been really discouraged this week as no weight loss even though all my numbers say i should.... but had a lightbulb moment reading this as doh!! its that time. Thankyou - feel much happier now. I can sometimes put on up to 5 lbs but it goes within the week.

Hi I would also recommend jillian michaels DVDs. I do 'banish fat boost metabolism' for when i cant get to the gym etc, its a good all round workout and certainly works you hard.
