I tried for a month and it didn't work. Sometimes I might eat 100-200 over and it doesn't seem to have an effect. But I do think everyone is different and clearly from what some people say it works for them.

I watched that show. Dr. Oz should be ashamed. He had these women come on the show who had sent in pictures of themselves in a sports bra and shorts to get on the show (a la biggest loser). They were all in tears and so embarrassed of being fat. He mortified them by asking them how they felt when they looked at their…

I tried the approach of eating my exercise calories for a month and I didn't gain any weight but I also didn't lose. Went back to not eating them and am losing again. I think everyone is different and you have to figure out what works for you.

We're in the same boat! 80 to lose but should lose 100. I've learned that it is going to take a long time to lose this weight and I'm happy now with .5 or more each week. When I started, I was shocked at how slow and hard it was to lose one pound. Now I'm looking at the big picture. It might take another 12-18 months but…

I did the same thing! Once I started watching one movie I became addicted and kept watching more food documentaries. I really liked Forks over Knives. These movies completely changed me. I have switched over to organic food and buy my meat at a farmers market where a farmer works with his neighbors to bring local grass fed…

I would never wear my HRM all day. Too uncomfortable. I find the Fitbit motivating and love how it links to MFP. You won't regret getting one. It makes you MOVE!

I switched from 2% Fage yogurt to lowfat cottage cheese with fresh blueberries to lower my sugar intake and reduce sugar cravings. When I first started MFP and decided to reduce sugar and sodium, I was shocked to see the sugar content in nonfat/lowfat Yoplait yogurt, which I had considered a "healthy" choice! I've…

Or a UPS Driver. My delivery man averages 30,000 steps a day and 125 stairs climbed. I live in a hilly area. The guy is FIT!

Take a 3 mile walk, play tennis (or take cardio tennis or cardio hip-hop class), walk the dog for 1 mile, pick-up and clean my house everyday. Sometimes I'll do the elliptical and/or bike at the gym. 10,000 steps takes effort, intent and purpose. It's working though!

My fitbit does not record any steps when driving.
