Day 21, L3D1, done! I'm not gonna sugar coat it, it is hard!!! :frown: I did it, had to pause a couple of times, but I know for a fact that 21 days ago, I wouldn't have even been close to doing it... curious how long it will take for me to be able to do it without the pauses... hoping for tomorrow, but we'll see. Oh and by…

Go for it, and remember you are only competing against yourself. And if you finish it then you've already beaten your best race time! I will say that my 3rd 5K, didn't have many people in it and the walkers seemed to choose the 1 mile option, so there were no walkers. I came in second to last, but my time (34 minutes) was…

I'm on day 14, so 4th day of level 2 and it seems to be getting harder... but I can now do the exercises so I guess that makes it harder! I agree with the jump rope, I feel like I'm jumping higher and stronger, but I can't get my arms faster!!! All the plank aerobics are killing me! But I know I'm stronger than I was, and…

Day 14, level 2 done! 4 days of Level 2 and it seems to be getting harder!!! Maybe because I can actually do the exercises correctly now????

Today's a new day!!!! I've been doing the shred on YouTube... both level 1 and level 2 are on it.

Congratulations!!! I recently hit that milestone and it's a fabulous feeling!!!! I'm at 171.5 now and can't wait for it to hit the 160's... I love seeing MFP say "If everyday were like today, you'd weigh 163.5 in 5 weeks" Unbelievable!!!!

Day 12, level 2 done!

Done. I started a little earlier, so today was day 10 for me, which means level 2 tomorrow... I'm so nervous!
-
Me too! I don't stress about it going slightly up and down, but just celebrate when I hit a new low number. My trend is 1-2.5 pounds a week.

I just finished day 4, but would love to join in for accountability. I actually just took my measurements before logging on!

I actually just started today, so perfect! I only had 2 pound weights or my husband's really heavy ones, so I did it with the 2s, still felt it though. I'll have to pick up some heavier ones. Happy shredding all!!!!

My non-expert thought... I'm 5'4" and currently weigh 173.5 (down 45 pounds) and when I entered that I want to lose 1-2 pounds a week and my lifestyle is inactive (not including my exercise that I track) MFP set my goal net calories to 1200. I noticed that yours is 1400. Perhaps, again just my non-expert opinion, that…

For the person who asked about sore knees: Go to a running store and have them evaluate what sneakers are the best for you. You don't have to buy the shoes from them if they're too expensive, but good running shoes are a must!

I did the couch to 5k and now run 3 miles 3-5 times a week and run between a 10 and 11.5 min mile. I've gone from 218 pounds to 177 pounds, so it works. But if you want more than toning, you are going to lose weight through your eating. My suggestion would be to not eat back all the exercise calories, to not eat extra…

I'll just throw out there that I don't belong to a gym. I run and it's convenient, easy, and I've lost weight. (Started at 218, now at 177) When I started I couldn't run at all, but I did the couch to 5K program and I now run 3 miles 3-5 times a week. I've even been able to run 5 miles.
