OMG. No kidding. My husband gets the occasional migraine. This weekend he woke up recovering from one. He was squinty eyed due to the migraine causing light sensitivity and was going to drive to the store to pick up his snacks for work. I told him to get his butt back to bed till he was better and that I'd go get his…

More power to you two! :) I have a cousin who was with a black guy for...13 years. They have a 14 year old daughter together. I never met him...but I adore my cousin and her daughter. I say if it makes you guys happy, then blow off the nay-sayers and dirty looks and just be happy. :D

You're looking great! :) I'm one of those people like you who doesn't see the changes. Now, I also haven't lost 50 pounds like you...I'm only down about 8. But, I know the more I lose I'm bound to think the same as you "I'm just not seeing it". *shrugs* Who knows...guess we'll see when I start really dropping the pounds. :D

You'd be thrilled (insert sarcasm) to hear that my son (at almost 5) did not use his fork or spoon to eat his steamed broccoli...rather he ate it with his hands because the only part he cares for is the leafy part (or so he calls it). And I allowed it. Hey, he was eating broccoli...a FIRST for him. And I was not about to…

This is me exactly. Portion control is HUGE for me in my weight loss. I'm working on eating more veggies (and fruits at some point) because I know in the end a cup of broccoli or carrots is better for me than a cup of french fries. Not to mention my almost 5 year old son is becoming very...brave and curious with…

This. Exactly.

Lord of the Rings Online is my absolute favorite! And yes, I still play and kick butt on there...I just limit my time spent in front of the computer vs exercising. :D

<---- guilty as charged. I LOVE Lord of the Rings Online. In fact, my mom wants to be able to come watch my sister and I when we play concerts in game, so we created her an account; but I have to level her char up cause she doesn't want to do all the work. LOL. Anywho! Add me if you'd like.

Lady Mary Liberty Small I'll be honest, I can't for the life of me remember my kindergarten teachers name...so I used my 1st grade teacher. >_< Also not positive on the first street. :P

That is awesome! I love it! Thanks for sharing!

This. Among others who have said GOOD for her. I for one think she was mostly baby during that pregnancy and lost probably 30 pounds upon birthing Blue and beginning to breastfeed. The other 30 she probably lost with healthier eating and rigorous exercise. I guess it comes down to haters gonna hate.

Both. Always after pee, and before food. If I get dressed before weighing in, I subtract about 3 - 5 lbs for clothes depending on what I'm wearing (obviously, denim jeans/shorts/capris weigh more than my pajama pants or sweats lol). :D

My immediate family knows (mom, dad, sister, brother, SIL, hubby)...but that's it. Recently recruited hubby to MFP because he just has his semi-annual check up with the doctor. And our doctor keeps telling him he needs to just get lap band surgery. Something neither hubby nor myself wants. Plus hubby works at a sometimes…

That's amazing! Great job!

I would have called a manager over early on in the meal to address the poor service you were receiving. Perhaps, given that she cried when you confronted her, her mind was elsewhere and work is the last place she wanted to be. If that was the case, perhaps being sent home early by a manager and reassigning a server to you…

Do it. :) The more you go, the more confident you'll feel...and the less you'll care about what others think about you. The important thing is that you are there for you...to get healthy and lose weight!

Make sure you're not eating more calories than you are burning as well.

My son is an only child. He'll be 5 in October. So far, there have been no requests for a sibling. However, if there are requests, we'll have to sit down with him and let him know that it's not a possibility now as daddy got the snip back in December. lol Do what you guys decide is best. :)

I was on the plus size scale back then...sadly before the plus size lines came out for girls my age then. Anywhoozle. I think I was in a 16/18 back then. I pulled out some old pictures of myself around that time...as inspiration to keep with what I'm doing here now. Ideally, I would be happy to be at least back at that…

Everything in moderation is what works for me. Along with cutting out or at least cutting back on the stuff that's WORSE for you (ie fast foods, fatty foods, etc). I lost nearly 10 pounds before stress caught up with me at the end of last year by eating in moderation and exercising every day. :)

I totally get it! I have a 4 year old son (who will be our only kiddo)...and since he's in preschool, I have 2.5 hours where I can and should be working on me, but don't because I watch the neighbors 2 year old (4 days a week, 10 hours a day; and he's draining me emotionally because he's a sad child to begin with). If I…

This one is pretty appropriate for MFP. :) Yesterday I was buying a large bag of Purina dog chow for Athena the wonder dog, at Wal-Mart and was about to check out. A woman behind me asked if I had a dog. On impulse, I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again. Although I probably…

I can't stand to see pictures of myself. I'm currently doing daily vlogs and really can't stand to see myself on video...but I am keeping up with it so I can look back and see how much I change. I ache all the times...knees, ankles, back...and I can't keep up with my 4 year old some days. Plus, I notice after I binge on…

1) more water. 2) you need to eat more than a couple times a day. 3) where is the 30#s you need to lose? You my dear look very healthy weight-wise right now.

I own...under 10 pairs of shoes. My favorite pair are my ballerina-style flats from Cros. They're super cute...and comfy. ^_^

I'm hoping to lose at least 100. Ideal healthy weight is 150-ish (and I'm currently 261). :P

Back in November at his annual doctors visit he weighed in at 282 (down 64 pounds over 18 months) which was still larger than me, but only by about 12 pounds. BUT when he weighed in on our scale the other day, he was back up to 307. Either way, he's still larger. I do hope for his sake he can get back into a routine and…

Fabulous! Love this! Posting as my FB status. But will also put my 3 here! 1) It's my Friday (I watch my neighbors grandson 4 days a week). 2) My son (then again, he always makes me happy; in fact there's not much he can do to make me sad/mad) 3) I didn't have to cook dinner!! My husband offered to cook one night this week…
