Was up 2 lbs from this morning. Then I realized I walked 15 miles and it was muscle build. But this is encouraging none the less. Anyone feel like tag-team kicking *kitten* losing weight, add me up.

think of the scale as a compass. If it's going down, you're on the right track. Even if it's crawling upward, so long as you're exercising and adhering to your MFP plan, that just means you're building muscle. Don't let that get you down.

Think of it this way... the less protein you get, the more your body will metabolize both muscle and fat, protein shields the muscle in your body from being metabolized. The more the better, but don't go nuts with it because too much protein will put a serious strain on your kidneys to get rid of the excess.

Between 1500-1900 is a goal to do it healthy. Think of it in terms of creating a healthy eating lifestyle as well. If you lose too much weight too fast, you'll just gain it all back if you haven't adhered to a plan.
