as a daughter who used to play videogames and with trucks (and one that has a motorcycle and fixes cars too), I'd say yes. :) encourage her to do whatever she likes! trust me on this. I'm an engineer. ;)

it's the holidays. it doens't hurt to indulge a little bit. save a piece of something yummy that you love and throw an extra workout in your day. and take the rest to work/school as treats for everyone else.

up your calories. do you eat your exercise calories back? how tall are you? as someone else said, you're building muscle.scales are extremely deceiving, if I went only by my scale when I was weight training, I would've hung myself (10-15lbs on, lost 10" off my waist).

I agree, a deviated septum is almost always covered (in America, if you're elsewhere I'm not sure) by insurance. I get migraines often due to my deviated septum so I've been considering the same thing.

This. Potassium isn't on all labels, which sucks, because it can really mess with you if you have too much/not enough.

I wouldn't. bananas have a good amount of potassium, which is good for your electrolytes. I wouldn't go about eating ONLY bananas. I like to have them, apples, any kind of berries.

:) thank you everyone. I feel like a jerk because I still plan on going to grad school in Iceland or Sweden and my mother doesn't approve of me leaving like that. but. I know that's where my heart is and where I'd be happiest.

oh I know. and I truly don't want to bring someone to a country they don't WANT to be in. that would be really hard for them. especially the language barriers, I know how it is learning a new language. *headdesk*

it just gets to me that he knew I was planning on leaving and was "okay" with it, and now that we're emotionally invested in each other, he wants me to stay. I just wish he would've been open with it from the start. :(
