The normal weight gain for a person quitting smoking is 5-7 lbs. I have quit smoking now for 2 years. My weight gain was from having children though. Instead of eating when you want to have a cigarette go for a walk, work-out or even brush your teeth. If you really wanna quit without gaining weight you WILL!! Good luck :)
