  • I met Rob Schneider at a meet and greet after his show at the Improv @ Pointe Orlando. The pic isn't the greatest (a bit blurry) :ohwell:
  • Look how far you've come!! You look FABULOUS!!! I am currently at your starting weight...and I'm 5'2"!! Thank you for the inspiration!!
  • I have 80lbs to lose also! Gained it all starting with my senior year in HS and I just never got the memo to nip it in the bud when my pants started getting too tight. I am fairly new to MFP also! I returned from my year-or-so long hiatus with a vengeance and am ready to get this weight off! Feel free to add me! WE CAN DO…
  • Subway 6" turkey sub on wheat, no cheese...mustard, and any veggie you like (280 calories)...this is my go-to Subway sub if my calorie budget is dwindling. If I could have any sub I want and have enough in my calorie budget to splurge, I'd get a 6" tuna sub (probably still stick with the wheat bread even tho I LOVE the…
  • No Jay Hernandez...my bad LOL
  • Wow. She should have been encouraging you, not trying to tear you down!! Geez!! And comparing herself to you...
  • I recently switched offices but not because of any bad experiences. My previous doctor has since retired; plus, I moved 45min away so it was more convenient for me to find a new PCP here in Orlando. My previous doctor has been pretty blunt and told me that I was considered "obese" and that I will not live a long life if I…
  • I'm 30, 5'2" and have about 80 lbs to lose. Feel free to add me as a friend!
  • "What would you do if I sang out of tune...would you stand up and walk out on me"...LOL :)
  • Hi Scott!! Great post!! You had me cracking up the whole time reading this!! I seem to see myself in many of your comments. Congrats on the 24lbs lost!! This post is great motivation for me and anyone else who reads it! Keep up the awesome work!!
  • Hi Lily! Nice to meet you! I've had the same problem; my weight has been in an uphill climb since high school (I'm 30 now). We can do this!! "Nothing tastes as good as thin feels." I'm not exactly sure who originated that quote but it's been sticking with me since I heard it!!
  • I totally agree!! I'm a food junkie and I like certain things and of course the stuff I'm not too fond of is the stuff I should be eating. I have tried the low/no carb diets and I can't stick to them. I like pasta and pizza and subs/sandwiches. Now, I can still have that stuff, only healthier. If I have to splurge for…
  • Thank you both!! Best of luck to you as well!
  • Orlando!!
  • Lots of great advice in this thread!! I can definitely learn from all of it!! I have been one to give up and not stick to things myself. I officially "re"started my journey yesterday. So far so good. I wish you the best!
  • I'm just staying within my 1200 cal budget. I've had tiny cheats here and there (like 2 jolly ranchers, or 5 Pringles)...I'm proud of myself just for not having more than just a few of something bad. I have had potatoes which r starchy but it fit within the calorie budget...mostly healthy stuff tho and no fast food for me!…
  • I have the same problem! I'm one of those that can't seem to stick to anything. Hope that'll change! Def agree with u that sticking to a shorter goal might help us push thru to the finish! :)
  • D2 for me :) not any easier than D1 and I'm way more sore but I think that means I pushed myself. Will try pushing harder each day. I love reading about all of your experiences thru it all because it seems we have similar hurdles to get thru. Keep up the good work everyone!! I know I'm def tryin to :)
  • I am on Day 2 (L1) myself and I struggle with push-ups the most (even modified - there's no way I can do a true push-up at this point). Cardio is also difficult for me cuz I'm so outta shape. Definitely looking forward to it getting easier. I take water breaks cuz I get parched and so outta breath. But we can do it!! :)
  • Finished D2 today! I didn't find it any easier than yesterday but I'm looking forward to day 4 & 5! I'm much more sore now than I was this morning but that must mean I worked hard enough. Gonna keep trying to push myself harder each day. Way to go everyone! We GOT THIS!! :)
  • Day 2 done! Wasn't crazy sore from yesterday but now I'm feelin it! Hasn't gotten easier yet but I hear that after the first few days it does :) we've just gotta keep it goin!
  • I am slightly sore myself. I agree that it's a good thing. Means we pushed ourselves :) I feel great about this challenge. May actually stick to something for a change! :)
  • Thank you! It's good to know it does get better and it helps talking to all of you who r doing the same thing :)

  • I just found this website today and tried to register. It told me I already was registered! Guess I've been under a rock or something lol. Started L1 today - D1 I seriously thought I was gonna collapse. Was out of breath in the first few min but I got thru almost to the cool down and my laptop died :( Maybe tomorrow will…

  • Go to YouTube and search 30 day Shred Level 1. Do L1 for 10 days, L2 for 10 days, same with L3. Today was my first day. It's quite a workout! :)
  • Holy cow!! I knew I was outta shape but whoa! Thought I was gonna collapse! But u know what they say..."No pain, no gain". I'll actually be disappointed if I'm NOT sore tomorrow. Then I'll just have to push a little harder.
