Papa Roach - Last Resort... terrible message, but it's still a kickass rock song. My favorite line is probably the first one because of the way he sings it... "cut my life into pieces"

Turkey roll, brown rice, steamed string beans. The turkey roll has been in my crockpot all day.. *drool*

I am a first born and the description couldn't be truer, both positives and negatives.

He's just mad because it has been so long since he has gotten laid. Don't even give a second thought to someone who is clearly so insecure that he has to tear down other people out of nowhere. A 27lbs loss is freaking fantastic! Congrats on all of your hard work!

That's about what my protein goal is for the day. It definitely takes some planning to reach. Your best bet is lean meat protein, especially chicken. I get so tired of eating it, lol. Lately, I've tried fitting in whey protein where I can. In addition to a daily protein shake, I mix it in with other things. This morning…

I haven't ever done one, so I have no voice of experience here, but I believe you can do it because you're freaking amazing like that and have always been one of my heroes. I don't know what to tell you on the mountain bike thing. Hopefully someone here will have had experience and be able to let you know.

Angels and Demons in your pants.

I can only respond as to my own personal experience. I can greatly improve my cardiovascular health without it 'hurting' much. Otherwise, if I'm wanting to see real body changes, it has to 'hurt'. Like someone else mentioned, soreness, sapped energy, out of breath, burning lungs, tight muscles, etc., not acute pain. Again,…

I was thinking about doing this too. It's going to be a very popular costume this year, lol.

Right now, ISSA ad for becoming a personal trainer. The weirdest one I've had is an ad for a Chinese dating site, lol.

I'm not sure what the BEST thing has been, because I've had so much encouragement, from my friends here, from facebook friends, and from family, so I'll just give you a recent one because it's meaningful to me. I was visiting my dad in Texas and got up early one morning to do some pushups and go for a run. My dad was up…

I'm so sorry I missed this while I was out of town, Dave. What a great man your father was. Thank you for sharing this beautiful post.

If I ever wanted to be a size 2, I would have to get down to a very low body fat percentage. I don't think it would be reasonable for me to sustain it long term. Power to the women who want it and can do it!

This is sort of lame, lol, but I had to take my dog to the vet to get one of his dew claws checked out. His regular vet wasn't in, so we saw another vet. I pretty much got a 'gold star' from the vet, telling me that my dog is well cared for and that he can tell I'm a good dog owner. I'm extremely attached to my dog and…

1. I did not get enough sleep last night.. can't wait to go to bed tonight. 2. I have a doctor's appt today. I hate going to the doctor because it throws my schedule off for the day. 3. I'm lucky I have the ability to see a doctor. 4. I can't wait to eat my lunch. Is it lunch time yet? 5. Lifting makes me so sore and…

Chips and salsa and endless Coronas. It's a package deal.

I'm not usually the type to gush over romantic things, but little things that have meaning can really get to me. A few years back my husband and I were on vacation in Las Vegas. We had stopped off downtown to get a drink and a shrimp cocktail in one of the casinos that has a jazz piano lounge in the back. We were really…

I do not consider myself skinny, but this is the slimmest I've ever been. :)

Most foods we eat are processed to some degree. The more unprocessed you can eat, the better, but you're not going to be able to cut processing out completely, unless you work on a farm and want to spend 6-10 hours a day completely preparing every step of your food. What most people mean when they say processed is a high…

I have a pair of Nevados - reasonably priced and great traction, also very sturdy. I highly recommend. I also think they're lightweight enough that you can wear them anytime. They're not super heavy hiking boots.

I had about 4 real life friends as MFP friends at one point, but it's been over 3 months since any of them have logged in. My opinion is just to do what you're comfortable with. If you don't want real life friends knowing every detail of what you share here, either friend them and don't share everything or keep them off…

This is what I agree with. I've been married a while, but if I were back 'on the scene' then this is what I would do and not to prove anything to the guy, but to prove something to myself. Someone who is truly intrigued will at least put in a small effort to show they're willing to chase. If this hurts a guy's self esteem…

I own 37 pairs of shoes. 26 of the pairs are high heels. I'm a high heel addict. I don't think I've worn 1/2 of the heels more than once, lol.

Awesome thread. The New Rules of Lifting for Women is taking my fitness to a new level. I'm a part of three forums for the program. The girls group I joined on facebook is phenomenal. It's awesome to have a group that has the same drive that I do.

that the phrase 'sense of humor' is thrown around too loosely, by people who aren't funny that thin/skinny girls are what's wrong with society

Navel piercing. It's slow work, but it's getting there. It keeps me motivated.

Yep. I've even debated taking my lifting from 3 days to 2 days now that I'm in a cutting phase and just increasing low impact cardio other days. If you're really making it count and working hard on your workout days, make sure you're getting adequate rest. I couldn't lift more than 3 days a week if I freaking wanted to. It…

stubborn, restless, lovely, sweet 3 out of 4.. don't know about that sweet part, lol.

I don't think I could narrow it down to even 10 films for best of all time. A movie I absolutely love is Life is Beautiful.
