Maybe increase to 1500 plus excercise for a few weeks and see how that works, you will have weeks where you appear to be the same weigjht but there could be fluid retention or something causing it, I found mixing the calories about really helped, it keeps your body guessing. Worked for me xo

Been at maintenance for over a year now and still track and log most of everything. At first wasn't sure if was going to continue with MFP or not but I think I need to or risk gaining, I have no off switch and I don't want to undo all my hard work. i don't mind at the moment, I suppose if it becomes a chore I might rethink…

U can add me if you like xo

Had the same problem myself when I hit maintenance, still dropped weight even though wasn't trying to. I've been at maintenance for over a year now, and I give myself a window up to 126 lbs and then will really watch after that. I do still count calories the majority of the time, although not too strictly, and not much…

Pcmom, You eat them back because you're already eating at a loss, so you need to fuel the exercise, it helps to stop your metabolism slowing down, which you definately don't want to happen. I ate the most of mine back throughout my weight loss ( five stone altogether),
-
Yes, eat the majority of them.
-
Am at maintenance, I, also had cheat days throughout my weight loss, I sort of wondered the same thing at your stage. I sort of still have them, but just differently, if I eat too much one day, I will cut back the next few days to compensate, or will exercise more or will just wait till have banked some extra calories. I…

I don't do workouts as such, I swim for 50 mins 2/3 times per week, and also walk round the local park for 40 mins 2/3 times per week . I don't have an aim for calorie burn, just time spent doing those 2 activities. On maintenance I have 1660/ day, plus exercise so on a swimday I can have about 2100. I'm 5'3 and 118 lbs.

Think if it's working for you, then it isn't wrong. I also like to save calories for the evening cause I like eating best then. Suppose you could try some of the suggestions and see if they work better for you, failing that stick to what works for you.
-
Yep, interesting, kind of what I was thinking anyway.
-
It was because I saw a picture of myself and didn't like it, am maintaining now.

Hi, it took me about 4 months to loose the last 14 lbs , probably because I upped my calories the closer i got to my goal weight because I wanted a gradual increase in calories. Have been at maintenance for about a year now and so far managing ok.
-
Ok. thanks, it's just that it seems to take 2 weeks for me to gain so called pound, but wasn't sure if that was the case or not or if I was imagining it!!
-
Love toasted raisin bread, maybe a yogurt or cheese and crackers, and of course love a wee chocolate bar xo
-
Yes, eat most of them back or at least half, if you don't feel like it today, another day. I love the extra calories exercise gives you xo
-
Go for it, just cut back next week and exercise a bit more and it'll all be fine, life is for the living, enjoy xo
-
Yes, I find it hard too, have been at maintenance for a year, and I find I put on a few pounds and then lose few pounds, never stay the same exactly, am terrified of putting weight on.
-
I found I had to increase calories the closer to my goal I got xo
-
Increase your calories.
-
Can't see your food diary but you need to make sure you're eating all your calorie allowance plus exercise calories or you will stop losing weight xo
-
I had a cheat day every week while losing weight , I still lost on average 2 lbs per week most weeks for 6 months. Am at maintainance now and can fit most things in that I want, but if I can't fit it in I still have whatever it is and make up for it over the course of the week, working so far! xo
-
Add me, if you like, 45 year old single mum of four, been on here a year and lost 67 pounds ( 9 pounds before I joined).Am definately a foodie and eat whatever I can to fit in with my calorie allowance, usually weekly rather then daily as that seems to work for me better. Am at maintenance so weight still going up and down…
-
Scampi and chips, apple crumble and custard, bounty bars, Take a Break magazine and Corrie xo
-
Yes, eat them back, if not daily at least weekly.
-
Well, when I started I just decided that I would have one chooclate bar a week, one heavy calorie meal ( usually scampi and chips, about 890 cals) and one packet of crisps per week whether they fitted into the calories or not. I did this every week, I lost usually 2 pounds per week, plus it gave me that little something I…
-
Yep. need to eat more, 1200 at least plus excercise calories.
-
I am doing it as recommended by MFP at the moment, it may need some tweaking to refine it a bit but is working at the moment, I just don't know my exact numbers but I think it's close.
-
No set time, just when my calories are used up or I'm not humgry. As I like to eat in the evenings I've usually saved a few for then, also work night shift two nights a week so tend to eat all night then!!!
-
Once per week, Monday morning xo

Feel free to add me xo
