I was only sore for the first week and haven't been sore since, I'm on week 5. I think it you can handle a few days of it it will subsisde once you get on with the work out. However, I've head that soreness returns with month 2 which I haven't began yet. It did totally wipe me out the first week I was sore and exhausted,…

I'm on the recovery week of month 1. I started noticing about the same changes you did in the second week, not much after until now I'm starting to se a lot more definition and more inches drop. My weight hasn't dropped at all since the first week. From what I've read most people see the most changes not until in to the…

I also was already thinking about splitting up the Fit Test and Work Out too :) Today I was just as sweaty, but could completely those shoulder workouts a lot better. I wish all the workouts were this intensity, it feels great and not so intense, but then it wouldn't be INSANITY :)

It's a great work out, so hard but feels great. I just finished month 1, and think it's highly unlikely I'll lose 30 lbs. on the next month. My weight has been at a dead stall since the second week where I lost 4 lbs. and I haven't dropped a lb since. My body is losing inches and looking more toned I'd just like to see the…

I also buy plaing FAGE and add fruit. Usually some frozen unsweetened strawberries or blackberries that I let thaw and mash in to a fruit blend and add a few drops of stevia to sweeten it or some pineapple chunks in juice not syrup. Great this way and you can rotate different fruits or put whatever you want in it. I also…

me knees really bothered me the first week, i had to ice them and take ibuprofen. I switched to doing it barefoot and haven't had any pain since. I know this isn't the best way either, but it's what works for me. I also quit doing those high jumps those are what were killer on my knees so i jump but with out getting my…

For some reason it being Recovery week I thought this work out would be like Cardio Recovery or a balance workout like yoga or pilates, I was wrong! I really liked this work out though, i was sweating at the end like a regular work out but didn't want to lay down on the floor and die. Those arm work out towards the end…

I'm in recovery week of month 1. So hard but I feel great after! Did you lose scale weight consistently each week? My weight has been at a dead stand still since the second week and I can't drop any scale weight despite eating clean and working out this hard. It's frustrating, but the inches are melting off.

I'm in recovery week of finishing out month one of insanity. I dropped 3 lbs in the first week and my weight has been at a dead stand still since. Most in the insanity group also aren't losing scale weight, it's common with this workout. Did you take measurements? I'm dropping inches and that's enough change for me to keep…

Love it, but mine always comes out too watery for use with spaghetti. My favorite way is baked till almost done, scarped out and then sauteed with fresh garlic and butter.

I love the taste of AVC, i put a tbs. in crystal lite and drink it every now and then or a cucumber salad. I also use it as a face toner and hair rinse. I have found all apple cider vinegar's are not the same, I picked a cheap one up from walmart and it was so strong and vinegary. All of the organic one's I've tried with…

Blue Diamond Wasabi Almonds, but I could eat the whole can in a sitting. Fruit, love apples and melon's. Snapea Crisps with a low cal dip satisfy my crunchy craving's, and a square of lindt 70-80% dark chocolate or a sugar free pudding cup or fudgecicle for dessert.

I almost talked myself out of doing Pure Cardio & Abs today, I got off my regular schedule and would have to do it later in the day but I did it. I struggled through Pure Cardio but saved Ab's for a few hours later and did those great. I too can't believe I've almost made it through month 1! I've never stuck to a work out…

All of the advice so far is excellent and exactly what I would say too. I'm on week 4 and lost 4 lbs at first then my weight has been at a dead stall since, even gained a lb. today. I have already lost 3 inches off my waist, 1 off each thigh, 1.5 off each arm though even with out any weight loss. Not concentrating on scale…

Thanks for the replies everyone! It's encouraging to see others in the same boat, and like said just not to focus on the scale. I did take before pictures and am doing some sporadic measurements and have already lost inches. It's just mind boggling to not lose even a single pound working out this hard. I also eat a fairly…

My experience with Atkin's was the weight came off fast, but the second I started eating any carbs I would retain water and bloat up crazy. Once I started adding carbs back in the weight piled back on fast. I do a lower carb now, but will never go back to the 10-20 carb levels, it made me lose weight fast but it was…

Wow congratulations you look fantastic! I'm on week 4 and am already happy with the results i'm seeing, I hope mine are as good as yours by the end of it. Did you lose much scale weight in the first month? I dropped an initial 4 lbs. the first week but nothing since. I read you're eating 2,000 calories, i've been keeping…

I just started week 4 and have a love hate realtionship with it. I hate how hard it is, but I love how I feel afterwards. I was seeing results by week 2, and have already lost 3 inches off my waist, 1 off thighs, 1 1/2 off arms. Yet the scale won't budge. That's the hardest part for me is working out so hard and not seeing…

Also proud that I've made it to week 4 with out missing a work out. Pure Cardio is still killer, but I found myself taking less breaks and could do a lot of the exercises with better form. Just finish cardio ab's, I don't think I'm doing some of the exercises right because I really don't feel much in my ab's but I still…

Thanks for asking this question! I'm having the same problem. Just finished up week 3 and can still not do the pushups and my knee jumps look more like hops. I'm going to take the advice and trying for one full push up before I switch to the knees. I still feel like I'm getting the effects of the work out even with the…

Just finished Pure Cardio. I could really tell my fitness level is getting better this time and I'm trying harder and can keep up longer. Even managed some of the push up work the real way. Saving Cardio Abs for later tonight, hoping I can do them with better form when I'm not so tired from Pure Cardio. Keep up the great…

Got through Plyo today. This is the only work out that I dread, it's so hard! I am feeling like I'm getting more stamina and strength though. Still can't do a real push up, but I think by the next time I will attempt it. I did the fit test yesterday, my results weren't that much better, but I wasn't out of breath and felt…

Black Bean Brownies, I don't care what the food bloggers say mine still tasted like beans. Chocolate desserts baked with splenda soo bitter, burnt kale chips, protein powder mixed with just water with out blending it.

Finished Pure Cardio today and then did Cardio Abs right after. I think I'll split them up next time, I was really lacking at the ab work and had to modify the planking on my knees. Pure Cardio still gets me exhausted, but I had a ton of energy later in the day, funny how that works!

It's really great seeing these replies. I'm only on week 2, lost 3.5 lbs. the first week, assuming water weight, but have been stuck at a stand still. I have about 35 lbs. to lose, so it's frustrating working out this hard and eating clean to not see even a lb. drop. I am already feeling fitter, and my body is toning up,…

Plyo is still the hardest for me, that one is brutal. I made it through and did better than last time at least. Still have to do girl pushups but I'm getting there. I was having a lot of knee pain and stiffness in my calves, I switched to working out barefoot and am no longer experiencing as much pain. I'm happy about…
