I LOVE Spaghetti Squash! It's so versatile and delicious! I just bought two today to use during the week. I LOVE Pad Thai and I'm going to try to use it in place of Rice Noodles. Bulk it up with some broccoli and tofu!

2 kids... My daughter will be 4 in a couple of weeks and my son is 2.5
-
I eat them in a pinch... but just like most processed foods I avoid, also due to the high sodium

Once I changed my eating habits, I naturally no longer wanted or craved fast food. Now, I cannot even eat a burger and fries from a diner without feeling like I'm going to die for a week, my body just rejects "junk"

I have two .... my daughter will be 4 next month and my son is 2.5. To say they keep me busy is an understatement! I'm a SAHM although rarely home between pre-school, playdates, errands, etc..... I never thought I'd ever be able to fit excercise into my routine, but with the support of my husband, I am able to get myself…

1. Age - 41 - 5'1" 2. Current weight 145 3. I'm on a "base" calorie of 1200, but usually eat more due to my workouts 4. Workout hours per week: between 6-7 hours per week. I'm just coming off a 6 week struggle of plateauing, my trainer looked through my food journals and workouts and insisted I cut back on my workouts…

my weight loss plateaus. That's how I know I have to increase my calorie intake

since I'm hosting, everything will be cooked healthy. Plus my Sister in law and family are glutten/dairy and sugar free so I have no choice but to cook healthy. I will eat what I want in moderation, enjoy a glass or two or three of wine as well. With that said, I plan on some early morning gym time or an early morning run,…

What I wouldn't give for a venti salted caramel mocha!!!! I WILL however treat myself to a tall one every now and again (only on heavy workout days! LOL)
-
Exactly this! I have a hard time eating "junk" (my go to "cheat" meal is a juicy burger and fries), but since I started eating healthy my body actually rejects the bad stuff. I basically eat what I want, but I excercise a ton.
-
I do this about once a week. But only cardio. I do strength training 3 days a week, but with a day in between of rest. Cardio I do every day

i LOVE kale! if I want a crunchy snack, I make myself a batch of kale chips. Takes about 15 minutes, healthy and satisfies my need for a crunchy snack. I also keep a lot of single serve size greek yogurt in my fridge.

I love to add veggies to turkey burgers, it bulks them up and keeps them moist. I'm not a recipe cooker, but I'll add chopped spinach and some feta cheese to turkey burgers grated zuchinni and onion chopped mushrooms and peppers

drop out!!!! It worked for me, for the first 15lbs, then I started to increase my workouts big time, but just couldn't mentally get myself to increase my point intake, resulting in me not eating enough even though I was within my daily point range. I started to plateau despite the exercise which is when I switched to…

Usually I'll have a fruit smoothie with almond milk and whey protein. I also keep Kashi Go Lean Crunch protein bars in my car or gym bag for when I can't get my smoothie. My usual workout time is late afternoon, so the above keeps me satisfied until I eat dinner (usually about 3 hours post workout)

Great Job and GREAT time for your first 5k!!!!

While I am very active, I find the most efficient calorie burn for me is the elliptical. I can get a 500+ calorie burn in a 45 minute session.

Congratulations, be PROUD of yourself!!!!!!! Amazing accomplishment! I also started running this year and ran my 2nd 5k yesterday as well. (NYC, Tunnel to Towers).

Yes! When I tell people I still have 22lbs to go, they look at me like I'm crazy and I get all sort of remarks. My stats are: 5'1" - Starting weight 205, current weight - 155.4 Goal weight - 135 Technically speaking 135 for my height is still considered quite overweight. My trainer agrees with my goal, but is pushing for…

If I'm starving I eat, regardless if I have calories left over or not. If you are starving, then perhaps your calorie per day goal is too low, or you're not eating the right foods during the day. With that said, IF I am hungry, and would rather not eat food, I will make a cup of green tea, or drink a bottle of ice cold…

I'm a little obsessive about the scale, and weigh myself every morning. I try to limit it to twice a week though, once in the middle of the week just so I can see how my week is going, and then again on my normal Friday weigh in day.
