portion your food, weigh/measure everything. Are you eating processed foods? What does your sodium intake look like? Give it time for your body to adjust. One thing I have found, is that I just had blood work done a couple of months ago after being on a plateau since November... following the same routine food/excercise…

I'm a stay at home mom to 2 little ones (my DD is 4 and DS will be 3 in 2 months), I did feel guilty at first, but this is the ONLY thing I have that is 100% for me, and I've accepted that I deserve this time to take care of me... and while taking care of me to be a healthier me, I am in turn taking care of my kids. They…

Have your thyroid and your Vitamin D levels checked! I've been on a weight loss STALL for the past 6 months and was beyond exhausted all the time, turns out I have NO Vitamin D. I just started on mega dose of Vitamin D twice a week along with 5000 units of Vitamin D capsules on the days I don't take the mega dose.

The Mediterrian Yogurt Dip with Feta is to DIE for! I stay away from alot of pre packaged foods due to the sodium, but I do love (on the grab and go), the veggie hummus wrap for a satisfying on the go lunch. I LOVE their non-fat vanilla greek yogurt. I can also inhale the cookie butter! My 2 year old is addicted to it! LOL…

This is me! I've lost 60lbs, went from a size 16/18 and XXL shirts to a size 8 and S or XS in shirts and I look in the mirror and see a fat girl. I see a change obviously when I look at pictures, but I just can't see it in the mirror.

Even before I made changes to my eating habits, I found it repulsive. The only time I ate it was with both of my pregnancies when all I craved were McDonalds French Fries in my first trimester.

I have a 4 year old daughter and 2.5 year old son. I've lost 60lbs since last January and have another 10-12 to go.

I am not a runner, but decided last year I was going to try. Now I LOVE it. Just start with intervals (as others said, download a C25K app and go from there). Less than a year ago I could barely do a mile at a very slow pace. Now I am consistently doing 4 mile runs at (what runners might still consider a slow pace) an…

My trainer has me do leg lifts (4 sets of 30) and reverse crunches (3 sets of 20) It's working, but very slowly.

5"1 - my personal goal is 130-135 I would like to be around 125, but even now at 145 I'm told I look smaller than what the scale actually says.

I found that the treadmill is fairly accurate (if I measure it against what my HRM says). With that said, I find other cardio machines are way off when according to my HRM readings.

I put 1/2 tbsp in my eggs each morning. I also make a pudding that I eat at times after a workout. 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk, diced strawberries, 1 tbsp chia seeds, I let it sit in a sealed container in the fridge overnight. I also put a 1/2 tbsp in my yogurt as well.

I've been on a 4 month plateau which SUCKS... I have a feeling there is something else going on other than what I'm eating/not eating/working out, etc...... With that said, I don't "cheat" I eat what I want, when I want, but I make good choices about what I'm eating. I'd rather not eat junk and throw away my calories that…

I also like the Trader Joe's Brown Rice Pasta, I made a baked ziti the other night and nobody knew they were eating gluten free pasta! There is also a brand called Mama that have brown rice vermicelli noodles that are already pre portioned out and are 170 calories per serving. I've been using those a lot to kick my pasta…

I will be 42 in a couple of weeks, and I have to say (despite having two very young kids who don't stop from morning till night), I am in the best shape physically and mentally in my life.

I recently got the Polar FT4 and love it! I use the bluetooth chest strap along with the App. I was very surprised at how different the machines were to what I was actually burning. The elipitical is always off by 150 calories (more) then what my HRM indicates. I've been using this with the the Polar Beat App and sharing…

Sodium! I was surprised at the amount of sodium in a salad!

Drink a cup of green tea, or a nice cold glass of water. If that doesn't do it, and you are looking for that crunch factor, a stalk or two of celery.

I used to feel intimidated, but quickly got over that (and I'm very self conscience!). I just do my thing and move on. IF I was feeling weird about it, there is a small fitness room in the ladies locker room at my gym that has a couple of elipticals, treadmills and weights, I would work out there. But so far, I've never…

This has been my experience as well. I didn't connect the meds to the plateau until very recently. (I'm on Zoloft), I spoke with my Dr. and she lowered my Zoloft dose and added in Wellbutrin which is known to help with weight loss. I just started this combo and I'm hoping to start seeing a loss again in the next couple of…

I think that you do what is comfortable for you. With that said, we eat out on average 3 times a week, and I've lost 60 lbs so far. I just make better choices then I did in the past, and if you ask, most restaurants will alter how they prepare the food. Usually, if it's breakfast, I ask they cook my eggs dry on the…

Just from taking a quick glance at your diary, you are going over your sugar intake everyday. Cut back on the sugar. Also, check your sodium as well. I started tracking my sodium intake when I had hit a plateau, and cut it down drastically and the weight started to come back off.

I eat an egg white omelette every day. Just had one with fresh spinach, black beans and a little bit of crumbled feta. Low cal, filling and delicious!

I always add a little cheese to my eggs, and not necessarily low fat cheese. I'd cut out the ham just for the sodium content alone.
