I know how you feel. It is hard to be over weight and move. I have to lose 165 pounds. Make sure to calculate your resting heart rate and your max work out heart rate. I had a nutritionist tell me once that balance is most important. Eat your good carbs, the nutritionist said just what someone else said, the body doesn't do time. The body needs the energy and if you don't eat good carbs the body will get it from elsewhere in the body.
