You wear the same two outfits all the time, either it's at work or a night out, because nothing else fits. You change into sweat pants as soon as you get home.

I found this "mixed vegs" entry in the database that I use to log my low-cal veggies. Much simpler and it's always in the top of my most frequent foods list.

Thanks for the answer! I tried Ezekial bread once (my local 'bio' store has it) and I must say it was not a hit! Apart from that it looks like a nice list of food.

Just out of curiosity (I have not read the book), can anyone give me some examples of the nutrion dense foods? And examples of those expensive and hard to find foods? Thanks!

"Yesterday you said tomorrow." Got me started and keeps me going.

Today I'm going to run w5d2. Now that summer is almost here I love to run outside. There's a lake not far from my work so I run along that, it's magic :)

I eat a lot of fromage frais/fromage blanc and my kid loves Petit Suisse. Cottage cheese is also very nice. All have more protein than yoghurt. I live in France.

Glad you liked it! It's perfect to have some in the fridge and you can fill them with almost anything.

I think you nailed it with this

I'm convinced that the people that say their body craves burgers and ice cream are just using that as an excuse and they are not at all in tune with their body. I think you just have to be very honest with yourself and also use common sense. Regarding nutrition and your body's intuition see point 10 in this list (Honor…

Thank you Bettyeditor, your post was very helpful to me. I will definitely try to do step 1 and then step 2 as you suggested.

You certainly got a point there, the way food is produced has changed and also the access we have to it. It's around us all the time and we don't have to do a thing to get it. But, I do believe that if we REALLY listened to our body, we wouldn't want to eat the crap, because it makes us tired, bloated and so on.…

I have exactly the same thoughts as you. I think I would really like to be an intuitive eater, but I just want to lose some weight first ... and apparently that kind of thinking is just keeping me in the diet-binge cycle. I'm afraid, I'll admit it, that if I let myself eat what I want when I want I would be very obese.…

This is exactly what I have been doing this week. I thought that instead of trying to fight it and feel bad when I don't succeed, I will save some calories and plan for an evening snack. And so far it works. I try to make it a yummy snack and not an apple! For example I make crisps by pan-frying torilla bread in a little…

I'm splitting it up so I enter for examle: 20 mins walking brisk pace 10 mins jogging slow pace

I have exactly the same problem. I eat dinner around 7 and then go to bed around 10. After dinner I'm normally on the internet or watching television, getting up to go to the kitchen during every commercial break! As from today I will try to actually plan my after dinner snacking, so instead of telling myself I cannot have…

Ouch, I just downed the rest of the cake that we had last night. And now my daughter was asking for some and I lied and told her i threw it out .... BAD!!!

I have shake powder as a backup at work, I use them when I don't have anything else or I have to stay longer than expected. Instead of grabbing something (usually not so good) in the cafeteria I just take a shake. I think a week or two of only shakes is fine if you want to jump start your weigth loss, it might give you…

If you don't eat bread you can make a very thin omelett to wrap things in. It actually works very well and is easy to transport and eat too. Here's an example: http://aww.ninemsn.com/food/cookbooks/848129/omelette-wrap

Chopped fruit, preferably kiwi or an orange.

Sweet potatoes, love them!

bump You all look fantastic!

I binge a lot too, especially after dinner and at weekends. I am bored and lonely, so I guess that binging and staying fat keeps me from dealing with my 'real' problem, that is being lonely, it's too scary to think about. Some great tips in this thread though!

Sadly I cannot find one thing on my body that I think is beautiful. However, I like that my body is hardly ever ill or sick, responds well to workout, I'm pretty strong (but the fat just won’t budge...).

Good morning (at least here it is) Last night was a really crappy one, I was starving when I came home from work and that's not good. I just kept eating the whole evening until I finally got to bed. Not unhealthy food, just too much of everything, going over my calorie goal quite a bit. I have to have that 4 o clock snack!…

I love this too, had it last night for dinner and having the leftovers for lunch today. So easy, super yummy!
