I went to my doctor today and he prescribed a diuretic for water retention. I should take it everyday until normal. Apparently. Thanks to all for your suggestions!

Thanks for the suggestions:smile: I do elevate my leg (above the heart), and ice regularly. I get deep tissue massages at therapy and intense ice treatments. He wants me to try water pills b/c despite all we've tried the swelling is worse. I cut back on walking, reduced my sodium (including cokes), stopped heat treatments…

I was finally diagnosed w/fibro in 2010 and can totally relate. Try to up your activity level by waking and serenity yoga. It hurts but over time the symptoms decrease. Since i broke my leg and started sports physical therapy i havent needed my meds at all. Except pain meds for my leg. Wishing u well!
