I can't say that's "normal" persay, but there is a different normal for everyone. We all react differently. I know, for myself, I can be big into self sabotage. When I get close to my goal, I usually fall off the wagon a bit. Or if I have a really great week, and it's reflected in the scale, I can go into a self sabotage…

You may not be able to tone the fat, but you can tone the muscle UNDER the fat, which will in turn help life your body a little bit, and help with inches. I agree with leg lifts, squats, lunges... and good old fashion cardio has always helped tone my core.

ladyraven, thanks for the link! Easy to understand that way :)

I have a lot of them too. My lower stomach has some, but My upper arms have them the worst. I lost a lot of weight in the past (and gained some back, but not all), and they are now white/silver. Forever I have HATED them. So much so that I would never (ever) wear a tank top. When I got thin, they were still there, but…

I agree with this. I stopped drinking diet coke (and all soda) in the beginning of March and haven't looked back since. I have felt way less bloated (ALWAYS felt bloated before). Less headaches, and definitely haven't craved as much sweets, and have been less "snacky" overall. I have just been overall more hydrated. I used…

Shena-- did you take your measurements before hand? If I remember correctly, you did. Have you re-measured? I bet you'll like what you see!! Sometimes you can really lose inches, and even go down in sizes-- and the scale hasn't even moved much. Keep up the hard work!

Thanks for all the suggestions! I got some walk away the pounds, and it's a decent work out. Have only tried the 2 mile one, but will be bumping it up :) I am also going to buy the 10 minute solutions too. Looks good, lots of good reviews. This should be enough for me for now until I'm in good enough shape to get back to…

Good job!! That is a goal that I keep telling myself I am going to work towards. I eventually want to give up all artificial sweeteners in my drinks-- but it's SO hard. I need to get back to the days of good ol' h20

I know one thing, I definitely felt liberated once I got over the shame of a number. It's just that-- A NUMBER! I understand how you feel though, because I felt that way for a long long time. But once you own it, and get over it as this thing with such a HUGE amount of shame attached to it, you will feel so much better.…

When I lost my weight before, I can not tell you how many times people asked me how I did it.The answer was exercise, and healthy eating-- it was never EVER the answer anyone wanted. They often looked at me like a liar.

IMO, Maintaining is the hardest!! I lost 100+ lbs and kept it off for about 2 years (up and down a little here and there), and then gained about 60 of it back after getting married, and having a baby. You are catching it at a good time! As long as you stay focused, you'll get there again. I think you're beautiful at every…

Okay, awesome. I just ordered a Leslie Sansone DVD with various walks on there. From 1 mile, to 4 miles. So I'm excited for that. I just want to make sure I have enough things to shake it up. Tankplanker-- p90x scares the *kitten* out of me right now!! At one point in time, my fitness level was definitely up to par with…

I am loving this recipe right now! It's perfect for the summer time. And my favorite thing about these Turkey Burgers, is that they do not shrink up like most burgers (even when extra lean mine shrink some). They stay big, and you really feel like you are getting so much more. This recipe is from skinnytaste.com -- I LOVE…

My rule of thumb is to try not to eat too much processed sugars. I'm all about natural sugars that are in fruit and veggies. No one ever got fat from binging on oranges!

First off, I'm sorry to hear about your dad. Sometimes it takes rock bottom for us to realize the things that should seem most obvious. You can do this, just hang in there and remember that if you mess up or feel discouraged, just dust it off and start over. No big deal! Lexy

Good Luck! You can do it.

That's good you don't have to go to an out of town doctor until the new year! Did you find the perfect ornament you were looking for? Was it a busy outing? I work at a Michaels arts and crafts, and we are BUSY every single day now... Christmas time is crazy for retailers. I just read about TOPS online, you peaked my…

I might be a rarity. Salty foods are my triggers.... Chips, pizza, cheese.. etc. I guess that'd be JUNK food. I can pretty much eat most sweets without triggering a binge. Except cake. I don't eat a lot of white foods. I eat only brown rice, whole wheat bread.. pasta, etc. The only starchy food that I still eat is…

Hi all! My name's Lexy and I have joined this site to start tracking my calories and exercise. I've been overweight my whole life. I used to weigh 250 pounds 2 years ago. I got down to 148 pounds with weight watchers. I am now at 164 pounds, and I need to focus on getting down to my goal weight of 145 pounds, and staying…
