I'm 5.5 mo pp and am also working on it! I will add you.

I logged it at -300 for a while, but my LO was not EBF at that point, so I stopped. At that point it was bonus, and I think it helped, but I also think 300 might have been a lofty estimate at that point. ETA: Keep up the great work, mama!

I take mine at night. Edit: I also was taking my vitamins at night because they make me nauseous (thanks pregnancy!). My doc said don't do that, that can interfere too. Thankfully nausea went away.

Hey all- I sent a message to OP, but anyone else can add me too. 22w and need to get it together with healthier eating! I seriously fell off the wagon with the holidays and have had trouble getting it back on track.

Tea cookie bar at Whole Foods. Today I walked right on by!

Up to you! The latter worked better for me.

My LO is 18 months, and we still BF several times a day and at night. I figure I'm on the low end of what I burn for BF, but I dont specifically count the calories. I aim to eat between 1600-1800 before exercise (I'm on maintenance calories, not trying to lose now). And FWIW, I'm 5'10" 136 lb. Good luck!

If it causes you to be unsafe or unaware of your surroundings, then no! But if you are aware of your surroundings and it keeps you motivated, do what works for you!

I know it can be hard, but dont rush. It took you 9 mo to put on baby weight. :glasses:

I cosign this. My LO is 18 mo and we still nurse a lot, including overnight. My goal for maintenance is 1890 cal/day. I'm 5'10" 137. I don't specifically count my BF calories, though. Incidentally, I'm always looking for healthy mom friends! I jog with my LO and we walk a lot. MFP alone has been a huge support in getting…

Bump. Also interested in Up v. FitBit v. Nike v. others. Jawbone Up seems like a good all around. And Nike doesn't sync with MFP....?

I think you'll be fine around 1700. I am BF at 16mo now. I dont account for my BF calories anymore, and I also eat around 1600-1700. For me, that is a reasonable amount to eat healthy yet have the occasional treat FWIW, I'm 5'10", 137# and active. Not really trying to lose any more weight. I definitely didnt find the…

5'10" and I've been in the 140s most of my adult life (weight loss reflected here is postpartum). I recently have been eating better and running a lot. Now I am just under 140 and feeling awesome. Tall girls unite!
