(I should add that since he was born, I've been tweaking on a thyroid thing, and I suspect that has impacted my ability to reach a goal weight.)

How far pp are you? What is your current height/weight? I'm 5'10" and was about 180 immediately pp, with a goal of about 140. I ate about 2000-2200 for the first 3 months (in other words, not really watching it that hard), and then went to about 1800. That got me to about 150 over the course of a year. After being stuck at…

Nursing, esp in the early days like that, can be as much as 500-800 cal. Don't go too hard on yourself though. None of my good eating made a dent until about 3 months out. Your hormones take a shift around then, too. I've been eating about 1850 since my LO was 3 months or so. I was super fit when I got pg, and I haven't…

Go easy on yourself, mama. With both of mine, I had an initial loss in the first 2 or so weeks (likely water weight), but then it slowed. It can be frustrating, but try to take the long view. Your hormones will be wonky for the first 3 months or so, which makes it hard too. It's true when they say that it took 9 months to…

Ditto! Not dead! I have been running and logging food. -10lb, and I will update my measurements and pics too! Hope you are feeling good!

1850 + exercise, thereabouts.

Kudos to those who are sticking with it!!! I've been running, but not doing BBM. Spring is around the corner... hang in there!
-
I had the same question. Thought about posting it to one of the BBM feeds but I didn't do it. I'm getting about 112 oz. A gal is 128.

Down, but I had the stomach bug. Measurements didn't budge :-/

HELP keep me accountable this week and next! We are at my parents' and off our routine, so it's going to be especially hard to get workouts in. I'm hoping to get to the gym at least. Please friend me and harass me! TIA!

18/20. Stomach bug :-(
-
I've hit the wall thanks to the stomach bug :-(. Can't seem to shake it. It's nice to lose weight, but I'd rather feel good and be active!

About to head on a solo trip to the grandparents' tomorrow with my 3 year old and 7 mo! Big sis is a travel pro and my little guy knows how to roll with the punches. Just hope the weather cooperates!

18/20 Missed Saturday workout (weekends are hard, but I did go for a run both days!) And up with a sick kid one night. Great job everyone!!!
-
Great job! I'm also doing pretty well with getting the BBM workouts in. Just a few minutes while my LO naps in the morning. Then, if it's nice, we go for a jog or a walk. I'm doing some fitbit challenges with friends too, and that's also been really motivating. I'd like to see a little more movement on the scale, but it…

Keep it up!!

Cinnabon. Times when I've decided to indulge myself, I regretted it! <3 Oatmeal. I could eat it all day. With maple, coconut, walnut, cinnamon, blueberries. Also love Greek yogurt. Funny how things differ for people!

Logged every day = 7 Water every day = 7 Missed one workout = 5 :-( TOTAL = 19

Do you have a workout helper today?
-
Great challenge!!
-
Logged every day = 7 All BBM workouts = 6 Intro = 1 Total 14. Great job this week everyone!
-
One more question about the points. How does it total 15? Log each day (7) + BBM for the week (6) + Intro (1). Am I missing something?
-
Got it!
-
Is there a place for logging this? I will confess that it's you people who kept me honest yesterday! I was thrown off by having a snow day, but I got my workout and logging done!
-
It seems to not let you edit posts anymore. I realized that my loss goal may be a bit insane. 140-145 is my ultimate goal, but I would be content to lose 10 to 15 during the BBM session (putting me at 145-150).

Pardon the tardiness. Just found the group today (Monday) Baseline Challenge Info: Current Weight: 160.8 Goal Weight: 140 Upper Arm: 11.5 Lower Arm: 9 Bust: 36 Waist: 38 Hip: 38.5, 40 Thigh: 19 Calf: 15 Breastfeeding. SAHM 2 LOs Youngest 6.5 mo. Found the group on a search.

I will be interested to hear what kind of feedback you get from a HRM. On the last BBM cycle, Brianna said that people were reporting burns of 600+ cal, which I find hard to believe. I logged it as "Calisthenics, vigorous", at about 200 cal per session.

Hi, I'm Caroline, also from DC! DS is 6.5 mo, and DD is 3. I'm a SAHM. I'm doing BBM in conjunction with a Couch to 5k program. I was super fit when I got pregnant with DS. I got into running and MFP when DD was about 1. Looking to get back to that place--I never felt better! 20-25lb is my goal.
