T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II totally rocks. We were going to go with a cheaper model to save money and I am so glad we didn't. It didn't hurt that I found this app right after we got the phones and I've lost 10 lbs, but I can highly and wholeheartedly recommend this phone.

First, congratulations on the weight you've lost. That is fantastic. You don't say how much you weigh now, but 100 lbs. is the low end of the spectrum for someone of your height and gender. I don't want to rain on your parade, but if that weight goal and calorie consumption concerns your doctor, maybe you should give it…

I am in the same 20-25 goal range. I've been here a month and a half and I've lost 8 lbs. I think being honest about calories and exercise is what makes this work. Welcome aboard and good luck.

Welcome aboard! I've been here a little over a month and I have found this to be a positive experience. Add me if you like. I log in everyday and I think it helps to give and get support.

48 years old and looking to shed another 17 lbs. or so. Like a lot of people are saying, it isn't as easy to shed weight as it used to be. That said, I've been on MFP a little over a month and I've lost 6 lbs, and it hasn't been that hard. I realize now I had been telling myself I was doomed to carry a gut for the rest of…

I agree with the writers who believe the calories burned calculations must be off.

I'm going to put half an avocado in my salad tonight. We'll eat them with just about everything. When they start to get too soft, I make guacamole: chopped tomato, minced sweet onion, minced garlic, cilantro (if got), a dash of Worcestershire sauce, some cayenne pepper or hot sauce, lime juice, and (God forgive me) cream…

Eat those calories. MFP is designed for you to eat the calories that are added to "Your Daily Goal." Whatever it says in green under "Remaining" is yours to eat. You should lose weight doing this, provided you are being honest with your eating and exercising.

Eggs on pizza. i never thought of this. I will give it a try. Thanks.

My favorite toppings for pizza are pesto, goat cheese, mushrooms, and artichoke hearts.

1/2 gallon of ice cream. On the Appalacian Trail it is a tradition to eat a 1/2 gallon of ice cream at the half way point. It was easy. In fact, I ate a hotdog and some other stuff after eating the icecream, I also was as skinny as I have ever been in my adult life.

Spices! Get some good recipes. Go to the Food and Nutrition post. Go online and google "recipes." If you want to eat stuff that tastes good and is healthy for you, you wil need to lean how to cook. Good luck.

This sounds fantastic. Do you have the nutritional info?

My food diary is public. The world can see what I eat--the good, the bad, and the ugly.

I am thrilled to have found this thread. I'll be trying some of these recipes and I'll be back with pics of my own vegetarian creations.

I am brand spanking new to this. I feel for people whose significant other won't support them. My wife fully supports me and at the same time, does not get on me about the extra weight. We are kind of both in the same boat. Hopefully she will be joining me here.

I have carried a few extra pounds at different times of my life, but it has gotten progressively harder to lose the pounds as I get older. I am in the habit of going to the gym, so I just need to fine tune my eating habits.
