I want to join you ladies too. What a journey we are on. I am only like 3 weeks pregnant. I am 5'6", starting weight was 166 lbs. When I got my positive test. I just lost 9 lbs. in the last 2 weeks. I do tend to drop a little weight right when I first get pregnant, then start packing it on at an alarming rate. I am trying…

I just found out I was pregnant a few days ago. I am trying to ease my way down from losing to maintaining. The last few days I have been shooting for 1600 cal. days. Depending on my weight at the end of the week, I will either increase or stay the same. I had just been really getting into working out, so I am trying to…

I have recently done my elliptical for 30 min. In jeans because I was in a time crunch, & didn't want to lose any exercise time. It didn't bother me.
-
Because my scale is just a hair under 180 lbs, & I am excited to welcome the 170's.

Great Job!!!! You must feel so amazingly good!!

I love anything PB chocolate, and have since I was as young as I can remember. If I have a treat, I actually measure it out, and try to keep it in my calorie goal. Ice cream is like 1/2 a cup for 150 calories- I can eat it slowly, and get a lot of satisfaction from 1/2 cup. I am off to check out the website above. Yummm.

I have been able to see a noticeable (in the mirror) difference after about three months of consistent exercise & healthy eating. As far as eating, if you add a lot of fresh raw veggies & fruits, you may not have to count calories, but it might be a good idea to count calories for a few weeks. In that time you would have a…

I love e exercise, both strength training & aerobic, but it doesn't seem to help me lose weight. It does however make things look tighter & greatly improve my mood. If losing weight is your goal. I would concentrate on diligence in recording what you eat, & sticking to your recommended calorie intake, for the amount you…

Hello Ladies-- Thanks for inviting me to join your group. This is my eighth baby. I have 6 boys and one girl (who is really hoping for a sister). However the odds are not with me - I have two adult step-sons, and that means out of 9 children my husband has only had one girl. We are considering the option of letting this…

Well goodness, I guess I am the biggest gainer. I am due 1/02/13 & I have gained 17ish lbs. so far. I started at 155 lbs. so I am already up around 172 lbs. I was super tired during the first trimester, sleeping all the time, & eating a ton in hopes that it would cure mornings sickness, guess what? it doesn't. But I have…

my last pregnancy I went through some similiar issues with blood testing, and I had the amnio, because I wanted to be sure. you have really good odds of everything being fine. I have been eating a bowl of Kellog's frosted mini wheats with with a banana sliced on top (I eat this as a before bed snack most nights). I am also a daily oatmeal, blueberries, fried egg for breakfast eater. I try to make a big salad in the morning and fry up some chicken tenderloins to eat with it. I like my chicken hot…

I almost always eat the same thing for breakfast; 1/3 cup dry oatmeal w/cinnimon, 1/4 c. blueberries, w/1/4 c. whole milk, & one egg fried in coconut oil, and if I really feel like it a (1/3 of a cup of coffee with creamer) but I rarely have coffee maybe a couple times a week. Oatmeal can really help you feel satisfied for…

I have been trying to figure a good daily calorie intake is too. I just lost 7 lbs, and got pregnant. So I know exactly how you feel. I was eating 1500/day, then when I found out I was pregnant, I went up to 1700, but still lost 2 lbs in one week, so I bumped it up to 1800/day this week. I think I am just going to see what…

If this is his first child, he will get better over time. My husband had two boys when I met him, and so he already was good with kids, but over the last 10 years (and 7 children), he has gone from 0-10 on the scale of helpful around the house and with the kids. We do talk about everthing, and it can be hard to talk to a…
