I agree counting calories worked best for me. I lost 57 pounds took one year and it was 1 lb a week or so. I have mantained weight for over 6 months now. I still count calories everyday, I am 64 and it is the only time I have kept weight off after losing weight.

Fage 0% non fat Greek Yogurt only 100 calories but 18g of protein and only 7g sugars, I add fresh blueberries. Getting protein this way is helpful to me not great on eating protein daily.

Keep going, it took me over a year to get to my goal weight, I lost 55lbs in a year. Slow but I was not in a hurry did not gain it all in one week. Some weeks I did not lose anything please do not give up. I am 64 years old and excited about wearing a size 8.

I AGREE CHEAT DAYS LEAD TO CHEAT WEEKS THAT LEAD TO CHEAT MONTHS THAT LEAD TO CHEAT YEARS I DO BELIEVE YOU CAN EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT AS LONG AS YOU DO NOT GO OVER YOUR ALLOTTED CALORIES THAT IS WHY I PREFER COUNTING CALORIES I HAVE LOST 55LBS IN 14 MONTHS TRYING TO MAINTAIN NOW
