Hi! I am happy you found this group as well! :) I try to work out 4-5 days a week (although I have been lacking over the last couple of months) and sometimes it does get hard. Try doing something like yoga with a friend. It can be relaxing (especially a restorative class). I personally love hot yoga, but tread lightly with…

When I get like that, I grab a couple spoons of peanut butter and a few multigrain crackers. It always does the trick for me...and my husband does it too. We like the honey peanut butter, so that helps kick the "sweet" craving.

My husband & I have had our fitbits for a year and we absolutley love them!! We have mini challenges with each other and with our co-workers too. It really helps you want to get up and move. Being in a desk job, it's so easy to just sit all the time. I use it as an excuse to force myself to get up and move. Some companies…

I'm 5'9 and I've recently reset my account so I don't look like I've lost anything but I've lost 6 this year (it was a good idea for me to reset personally). I've set my current goal at a 30 lb loss.

My dr told me to forget everything I've read on the internet and all the negative that you can so easily find. One more thing to remember, which has helped me tremendously, is…

I'm a member of 24 hour fitness and I add classes to my calendar so this way it pops up to remind me to go. If that doesn' work, I think about how many calories I'll burn. It usually helps me.

I met my husband almost as soon as I graduated at his mom's house where he was living at the time. His little sister was and still is one of my best friends. He and a buddy were drinking on the back porch and she went out to tell them to be nice because a friend was coming over. They made some snide comments about not…
