  • Altras are designed with a wider toe and are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn, running or otherwise. That said, I absolutely agree with getting a consult at your local running store.

  • You do a lot of walking in Vegas. Park your car somewhere and explore the strip on foot. You won't have to worry so much about enjoying a couple of nice meals that way. There are TONS of restaurants to choose from and plenty of healthy options. You'll love it!

  • We bought ours refurbished from Amazon.com. It was a great deal and we've never had an issue with it. We really shopped around though -- I'm with the others, read a lot of reviews before you decide. What a great gift from your mom!
