I don't worry about eating my exercise calories back.

At the beginning, I lost weight super quickly (about 4 pounds per week). I later heard that "new fat" is shed more easily than "old fat", and now my weight loss has dropped to about a pound per week.

Just go enjoy yourself. A cheat meal 3 times a week or a cheat day won't hurt you.

I don't like the taste of water....I use Crystal Light in order to keep myself hydrated.

Check out the Eat More 2 Weigh Less group. they should be able to help you. Also, I never felt it necessary to eat back my exercise calories. I don't have medical advice about it, but it's my opinion.

I eat lots of protein to keep me full...also lots of whole grains. The closer to natural foods are, the better they are for you.

Huge salads...but I agree that 1000 calories seems to be too few.

I love just a big salad with low-fat dressing. My favorite toppings include: cottage cheese sunflower seeds diced chicken choppied tomatoes cucumber hard boiled egg celery carrot Huge salads are my comfort food, especially in the summer when it's too hot for anything else! :) Normally they're around 300-350 calories.
