No one can answer your question without knowing what your diet looks like.

Don't be concerned about going over a nonsensical/arbitrary limit that MFP assigns you. If the redness is alarming, just go to settings and customize the goal. Sugar won't stop you from losing weight.
-
You can eat chips/soda/muffins and still lose weight.
-
Oh, didn't know there was a cap. Either way, 1000 is plenty - I won't have to worry about that.

Where did you read this?
-
Yes, as fitness increases and you adapt to a certain exercise, efficiency will increase and you will not burn as many calories. Which is easily solved by working at a higher absolute intensity (or longer duration).

What's the difference?

Yeah, I personally never really understood the whole deleting inactive friends thing either. If there was a maximum amount of friends you could add, I could see it.

Well sung you mean.

You can check out any time at night, but you can never leave.

Here's my view on it - not directed at you or anyone in particular. Could an obese person know a lot about nutrition/training? Sure. They may very well have a valid reason for being obese despite their knowledge. But is it likely that they do? Probably not in most cases in my opinion. Could a very fit person know a lot…

The reason the gym closes is because it's no longer profitable for them to stay open :P. The best time of day to exercise is when you can do it consistently - don't worry about these irrelevant details. Also, there's no reason to not exercise after eating. On the contrary, focusing your calories around your workout would…

If only it were that simple. Genetics, among other things, tend to complicate that logic. I understand what you're trying to say but heading down that path is a slippery slope.
-
That's a completely different issue. Adherence/individual preferences are not what was being asked. She asked if meal frequency impacts metabolism - which is something that has been shown to proven false through various scientific studies.
-
Your nutritionist is completely wrong and if you search, the topic has been beaten to death on this forum. Meal frequency is irrelevant to your metabolism. Eat whenever you want.
-
Yeah that might be an issue. It further complicates things because the calorie content would depend on the specific body part being ingested. On average, the most protein per square inch is in the legs, but this can still vary from person to person.

I mean it is all natural.. and as organic as you can get if you think about it.

People still read? You mean like reading facebook statuses right?
-
I agree with her second sentence. But regarding the first, you don't need to blindly trust whatever calorie/macro goal that MFP gives you.

Fat free cheeses, human flesh (in moderation), omelets.

BMI doesn't distinguish between fat and muscle mass. You can have two individuals with drastically different BF% and yet have the same BMI. Therefore, BMI is useless for your purposes.

Canola oil is the spawn of satan. Kidding, don't believe everything the hippies at the health food store say. Same goes for nutritionists.

Are you suggesting that if one eats at or below BMR, they cannot get out of bed?

Do you take anything anyone with a PhD says as gospel? Let us know how that works out for you. I can back up what I say with scientific studies. Let me know if you want them.

The main point was that even producing 60 oz of milk doesn't mean you are expending extra 1200 calories. Your maintenance level is not static. Plus the fact that you haven't lost anything lately does mean that you're eating at maintenance, by definition. The only caveat would be water retention masking the fat loss. The…

Will you see results with p90x? Yes, particularly early on. Will it be the most efficient way to see results? No. Is it an ideal program for sparing muscle mass and losing fat in a deficit? No, you'll work your *kitten* off for sub-optimal results.
-
Like everyone's said, you won't see abs unless you reach a low BF%, but, with that being said, isometric exercises won't usually be optimal for growing the abs (or hypertrophy in general). Why not directly hit them? Many on a traditional lifting program that is focused on growth tend to lean toward heavy weight/low reps,…

If it hasn't been given yet, this is the only correct answer: they are all the hottest in their own, unique, special way.
