I would have never thought wheat was bad until the author of "Wheat Belly" was on Dr. Oz. He said it is extremely addictive, as much as some drugs even. White is bad but whole wheat is just "less bad" but still not good for you. I'm not sure if this is true, but he guarenteed that you will lose 15 pounds in a short amount…

I had this problem when I started working out too. Mostly with the acne. I started to make sure I showered right away, cleaned my makeup brushes and washed my pillow cases more often & it went away. + more water as everyone else has been mentioning.

If you're just minding your own business and tracking your calories it's fine. However, i'm on the other end of this. I have used MFP for awhile, and have introduced friends to it. I do not regret it, but now it is all I hear about. How many calories is this or that? Even if it is just coffee they're asking about. Driving…

Hi, My trainer told me to focus on weight lifting for the first three months. Having more muscle builds your metabolism. I did 40 minutes of weights, and 20 minutes of cardio afterwards. For the next three months after that I focused on cardio. 40 minutes of cardio, 20 minutes of weight lifting. Diet is most important…

I would just continue what you're doing. You're small, so it's hard to consume so much. I have a hard time eating more than 1400 cals. Even when I exercise A LOT. I don't think walking your dog is excessive, but maybe cut back on the gym to 4-5x per week. If you're really worried, up your calories 200-300. But being close…

I was doing a lot of research before I bought my heart rate monitor. They are not accurate for strength training, only cardio exercise. I did a weight class, and while MFP told me I was burning 600, MFP said 166. Which I feel is more accurate.

She is only 130lbs... If she ate 2500cals she would probably gain weight... even with that much exercise. I started the same size as her now, i've lost 14 lbs in 4 months doing exactly what she is doing. Which is not a unhealthy ratio per week. I don't feel like i'm going to faint, or out of energy. It would be beneficial…

I think what you're doing will help you lose the 10lbs quickly. That is about 1.5lbs lost per week. Maybe you need to switch up your cardio routine.

I always overestimate my food, and underestimate my exersize. I'm 5'1 and 115 lbs. I feel like I would burn less calories then the machine tells me. Better be safe then sorry.

Holy, I can't believe you've had so much success in such a little amount of time! Great work!!

I wouldn't worry about the daily amounts of sugar too much, if it is natural sugar. I go over everyday in the sugar category just by eating two fruits. Even milk has lots of sugar in it! But it is healthy to have 2 glasses a day. I also go over in cholesteral instantly by eating eggs in the morning... That's why I do not…

Hey, I am in the same boat, my sister is getting married in June 2014. My mom and I are on a mission to lose a couple before the wedding. I have been off and on MFP for awhile, but have stuck on it since November last year. Best of luck, feel free to add me :)

Hi there, the 1200 cals/day equals one pound per week. To maintain your weight, you would be eating around 1700/day. The 500 cal difference adds up to 3500cals/week which is a pound. If you are eating the 1200cals/day AND exersizing, the "exersizing calories" only contribute to your next pound loss. I have a similar…
