The 'instructions' that came with the programme said to make sure that you rest for a day between each session - as a previous poster said - it gives your knees a rest. As you get further into the programme it gets harder so you will be glad of the rest! Hope you enjoy the challenge ... I am on week four now and it is a…

No real tips as such for you except eat the best way you can with foods that are healthy and filling. One of my MFP's put these two quotes onto his page and I think they just about sum the whole thing up ... the first is from an unknown source and simply says "Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret!” ..…

I weigh every day just out of curiosity. On Mondays I always weigh heavier by between 1-3 pounds and I think this is mainly because I am not as active on the weekends and retain more fluid. Other than that mostly I weigh roughly the same with perhaps a pound fluctuation. The key to successfully weighing each day is not to…

This was an excellent post and extremely well thought out and written. I have 'stolen' one of my MFP's 'thought for the day' from an unknown source - he quotes “Suffer the pain of discipline or suffer the pain of regret!” ... when you really give thought to those words it puts things into perspective for us all. Hope you…

I beg to differ ... there was no offence intended and it was not rude - no ruder than the op's comment "sick of hearing this trumped up crap advise" ... this subject has been done to death on these forums - and who are we to say that a certain thing is trumped up crap or not - each to their own , we all find out eventually…

Well I am just wondering if you are feeling a little bored or something raking up this subject yet again - and as a 'by the way' I noticed after looking at your profile that you are 0 lbs lost and in fact have been 'a stable 118-122lbs for the past four years' - so I am wondering just how much experience you have in the…

week 2 day 2 tomorrow .... have to say that I am enjoying the challenge immensely ... never thought in a mililon years that I would ever run, and in fact I had been putting off doing C25K for ages (mainly due to an injury that took like forever to heal!!) ... now I am chomping at the bit so to speak - but am not going to…

I don't use the phone ap but as I understand it we are not supposed to be under our net calories by any significant amount as this is the minimum needed to lose weight healthily.

Dawn, it is great to see your success ... I think you hit the nail on the head when you said 'if I want fish and chips - i have it ... all things in moderation' that is the key because as soon as we tell ourselves 'I can't have this or that because I am on a diet' then we are sunk! I am not on a diet I am on a healthy…

Sometimes it's hard to 'see' our success until something like this happens to remind us just how far we have come. Well done on your loss
