Been on a mini vacation for a couple of days, managed to run 6km one morning away so I'll take that! Back to the garage this morning Squat 5x5 @ 145lbs. OHP 5x5 @ 66lbs ready to move up again. Deadlifts - aargh. Not good today 1x5 @ 190lbs then 1x2 @ 210lbs blah!! So knocked out another 1x5 @ 190lbs. Off to eat mmmmmm

yes, lower the weight. Lower lower lower, then practice your form. Form is king. Watch a ton of tutorial videos and read as much as you can - better yet, get a PT to show you how to correctly do them. Film yourself doing them and assess where your issues are. Its a big lift, you have to learn the form- please be careful

Hi all Welcome to all the newbies! So nice that we continue to get new friends lifting heavy!! Lifted last night and can tell I did a good job as I woke several times last night wanting to eat the entire house!! Squat 5x5 @ 145lbs. Bench 5x5 @ 85lbs. Row 5x5 @ 90lbs. Off to eat all the foodz!!

Lifting and IIFYM for me! Focus on protein for me, don't care if it's lean or whatever - just make it fit! Oh and chocolate everyday, chocolate always fits

Another 4km run. I have no idea where this sudden urge to run came from. But it helps to clear my head so that's gotta be a good thing Plus, more calories = more chocolate

I lift at night once hes tucked up in bed. On the weekends I lift or run while the husband looks after him. My wee man is two and loves to talk about how mummy runs and lifts weights lol

Some great workouts going on here ladies xx Lifted tonight with Mr Psych! Took twice as long, had to wait for my squat rack, and he didn't unrack his weights.....but it was nice to have some company! Squat 5x5 @ 150lbs OHP 5x5 @ 66lbs Deadlift 1x5 @ 190lbs - this was a deload and felt great!

Am contemplating a rest week this week. Its been 7 weeks since my last one and I am feeling a bit jaded - though I may try and last out for another week :-)

Thanks hun x Heavy lifting has been my road to a flatter stomach! There's about 18months between these pics. During which I lifted heavy, ran occasionally, kept a small deficit and focused mainly on protein intake :smiley:
