Never heard of amaranth, I will look for it! Is it a grain? Where would I find it at the grocery? I do find it hard to get enough protein even though I usually snack on nuts at least once a day, and include some bean into my dinner. I don't eat eggs (I just don't like the taste) and limit cheese. My workouts are logged, not sure why you can't see them. As I said in my original post I'm shooting for 1 a week. I've been at for a long while (dropped 15 lbs before my wedding this year, gained some back). So I've been at it with exercise and keeping better track of what I eat for the past 3 weeks.

Pho Udon soup! Picked up some vegan pho broth, added udon noodles instead of rice noodles. added loads of veggies like bok choy, bean spouts, mushrooms, green onions, cilantro. plus tofu, lemon, and hot sauce. yum!

Veggie on wheat, no cheese no meat, ALL the veggies, red wine vinegar (no oil), salt and pepper. You would be surprized at how tasty this is, and only 230 cal.

Good to take extra time to stretch! What is built into the DVD is not nearly enough. I end up feeling very sore and tight afterwards if I don't take additional time to stretch.

Yes I think you are supposed to do it every day for 30 days. I'm doing it every other day however because I'm also doing C25K.

I'm taking my mom out for her birthday. We are going to Don Pablos since they have a lot of vegan friendly options. Don Pablos used to be The Spot in Indianapolis for straight edge vegan kids! Get a "hot plate and cold plate" hold the cheese are you are set!

What kind of physical changes are you refering to? Maybe TMI but being veggie or vegan means being flatulant. That's just the way it is, me thinks.

Oh I just want to add something. Some people won't date smokers. I don't think I could kiss a "meat mouth." Seriously, maybe if they brushed their teeth reeeeaaally well before kissing. ewe.

What about your family? Are they accepting of your vegan diet? I know some friends with children who have had major family fall outs because of this. I respect your conviction, but I worry that children want to be like other children. But, I'm a big ol' contrarian so you can just disregard me.

I was lucky to find a vegan man who converted me! So I would say be open and not pushy. Being veg*n is about compassion so have some, and introduce them to amazing vegan food. As for kids, raising them vegan isn't important. Raising them to make overall healthy choices and not worry about right/wrong foods and weight is. I…
