I weigh in on Monday mornings. Reason being, is that I have to keep it in check over the weekend if I want to see a loss on Monday morning. Weekends are always the most tempting times for me to go out for pizza, have a little extra steak cooked from the grill, of munch on a whole bag of chips while watching tv on Saturday…

Way to go! :)

Just something to think about: You said: and then you said: Different people prefer different things. And that's ok. :)

I agree with the post above, that a pack would probably be overkill. If you are drinking that much water for that short distance you are probably drinking too much. I have this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005VUREDK/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00

One more thing ;) A good way to get ideas on what things you could eat is to look at the diary of other people who have been successful. I have several friends and I enjoy the support/ camaraderie but I have my diary open to friends only. If you are interested in adding friends or would like to see my diary, just friend…

I took a look at your food diary and there are some things that I noticed. *Not nearly enough NON-starchy vegetables (the GREEN stuff ;) ). Most days there are zero. You should be eating at least 5+ combined servings of fruits and veggies a day *Not enough lean protein (lunchmeat doesn't count. ;) Eat 2-3 servings of lean…

You need to convince yourself that it is ok to repeat days/weeks. I started a C25k program on March 11th. (I bought it in the iTunes app store; it's called Ease into 5k) That first couple of runs were HARD. I was on the treadmill and my "runs" were at 3.2!!!! I couldn't believe that I couldn't even jog for 60 seconds at a…

First of all, I want to give you a big ((hug)). It sucks to feel like someone is doing better than you and in the back of your mind you have these feelings like maybe you aren't doing enough and somehow you've failed yourself. I've been there. That is completely normal. :) Now ... stop feeling like that. :) Seriously. Just…

I am a regular meat eater so I can't say for sure, but I will say that it's likely that the stomach upset is from the grease; that meat is very fatty and they cook it on a flat top grill where all the grease that comes out of the burger actually stays ON the burger because there is nowhere else for it to go. I grill…

Many thanks! I'm off to check the ones suggested; I appreciate the advice. :)

Keep going! :) It is supposed to be hard! If it was easy then it wouldn't be challenging your body to transform. If it's something you want to do then don't give up!

Bumping. Surely someone has opinions on this! :) I could really use some advice from those experienced with HRM's.

I believe the above posts are saying that the info My Fitness Pal lists as a calorie burn is often inaccurate and that actually using a heart rate monitor with a strap is a better gauge of the calories you burn while working out. If your watch doesn't have a strap then it may or may not be accurate. But bottom line is, if…

Is excellent advice!! Not just in this ugly situation but in all areas of your life. Only you can determine how you react to things!

That is it. Exactly.
