  • Yes your daily calorie goals will drop until you reach your ideal weight. Then after maintaining that weight for about six weeks you should add some calories to reach about 2000 a day. (this depends on your height and ideal weight) Calculate the amount of calories you need to maintain your Ideal weight or ask you doctor.
  • Hi everyone! I am Reba and I have just joined myfitnesspal. I became a insulin dependant diabetic last month. I have to lose wieght to hopefully get off insulin and become a "healthy diabetic.
