Me too! Only my mom has congestive heart failure and diabetes. I'm desperate to not end up on that couch. I don't even have a phrase I tell myself about it, just picturing it is enough to make me put down the fork and walk away.

I do my exercising in the morning after work and find that it works better for me. I work nights, too and have found that getting the sleep in is very important. I have had to set aside a specific time and tell everyone this is the time that I sleep or at least rest, you may not disturb me unless it is an emergency.
