Hi. I have just started c25k (for the 2nd time uuggh). There have been a few times when i have been really struggling, and when i could barely run for 1 minute, it was hard to imagine i could run for 30, but I did it eventually. By running so slowly that i could walk faster, by going running several times a week and being…

I try not to buy stuff that I know will be harder to fit in my plan, but I live right across the road from a late night shop that sells chocolate, crisps, wine......if I have had a bad day, and I think I might be tempted to run across to the shop at some point in the evening (I am a really bad emotional eater, and I want a…

There used to be a way you could reset your streak, because I did it once. Unfortunately, I can't actually remember what it was, because it was a couple of years ago!

[quote I think I have the same owl on the way teehee. The honeyed pork looks delish![/quote] it is, but the recipe used belly pork, so its quite high in calories. Next time i make it, i will try a leaner cut. The owls are lovely aren't they. There were different colours with different expressions, but I love purple, and he…

DawnEmbers - it sounds like it will be great fun. I loved the colour run, and I did a 5k mud run recently. It was a charity event, and there were 8 obstacles you had to get over, mostly involving mud-the final obstacle was climbing up an inflatable slide, and sliding down the other side into a pool of mud

DawnEmbers - Not sure what a bubble colour run is, but I did a colour run and it was great fun! Good luck! My lady was from Japan - I got her from ebay, but it took a couple of weeks for her to get here. I also got an owl one, which I have used to pack tomorrows lunch. Chinese rice with honeyed pork, radish, and pepper…

Blooming phone! It doesn't like smileys! Was going to say, my mould thing was only 99p inc postage, so not too bad, but it did look a little fiddly. Will have a look on just bento. :)

i have been looking on there, but haven't seen it all yet, and didn't see that trick

I went to a girls school, and apart from a small group of friends was desperately shy. I wore NHS glasses for years, and was always the tallest girl in the class, which as I was overweight as well, made me stick out like a sore thumb- not good for the shyest girl - and our uniform was bottle green and gold, so we stood out…

These look amazing, and so neat. I will be receiving a mould soon, and then I get to attempt one - but I get the feeling it won't be anywhere near as pretty as these!!

I've seen a couple of references to green tea rice - how do you make it? Do you literally cook the rice in green tea? No, I'm not sure about rose tea in general, athough according to the lady in the Chinese supermarket, its 'very good for ladies'!

Still waiting for my lovely new bento boxes and bits and pieces to arrive, but I have a divided lunchbox that I have never really used before, so here is my first attempt at a bento type box. Pic 1 is jasmine rice (with a dried rose bud!), honeyed pork and blanched broccoli, pic 2, a boiled egg, pepper strips and…

I have just been shopping and bought lots of goodies for my lunches next week, so excited to start. And I don't like tomatoes all that much, but I had to buy some tomberries, tiny tomatoes the size of blueberries - they are soooo cute!

I have been reading thru the thread for hours (sick days do have their advantages) and remember someone wanting owl shaped boxes. I just saw these on ebay (I'm in the uk) http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Microwaveable-Plastic-Owl-Lunch-Bento-Box-Food-Snack-Meal-Container-Storage-Case-/311384085182?nav=SEARCH
