Valerie3199- I calculated calories burned using a different program I thought might be more accurate. I want a heart monitor so badly but they are pricey! That's the best way to know calories burned. My sister in law has done a "mud run" and a "color run" and she had a blast! I think they are a great way to run a marathon because it's all about the fun and experience along the way, not just who reaches the finish line the fastest. :-) You should definitely do it!
