You can make your base with either the app or online. You use the items to expand your base. Then you sit around thinking about the story and how you cant wait to go again and hear the rest of the story!

I also dont know how much it has to do with weight at that time either. I cant think of one person I know in real life who has it, and Ive met quite a few, who was overweight before dx, but most gained weight after being put on BCP for it. My daughter has had symptoms for 8 years now and she's normal weight still but how…

I wonder how accurate that is? I was dx around 12 after 2 years of heavy, painful, overflowing, long periods and monthly cysts rupture that required an ER visit each time to make sure they were water filled and not my appendix or pus filled. My daughter has had symptoms since she hit puberty also, at age 10, but wasnt dx…

I have it and so does my daughter, we've both been dx. However my sister doesnt have it. But my mother has a HUGE (male pattern baldness, stomach fat, hard to lose weight, weird hair growth on her face, hormonal issues at an early age, uterine cancer at 36, etc) amount of symptoms but because she has no uterus they wont…

^this. Ours always is liquid in the spring/summer/fall and solid in the winter. Same with the butter we leave on the butter dish on the counter. It is actually easier to measure tbsp of liquid coconut oil than it is solid.

I doubt it. If you look up 'nightshade allergy' online, it is mostly self reported stomach issues, feeling flu like, etc. I have a strong physical reaction. My lips and the skin surrounding my mouth break out like I am a newly turned zombie. They are scaly, and bleeding and red and burn and itchy and split wide open. It is…

If you leave the pit in, it also helps it stay greener. Ive done this even with guacamole, If i leave the pit in with it, it is green, but brown if I dont.
-
Yes, I try to avoid it. Or keep low amounts in the vitamins I take. I have lots of allergies too. Food are all nightshades but potatoes, so allergic to tomatoes, bell peppers, hot peppers, paprika, any thing that says it includes 'spices' which is in most hot dogs, brats, sausages, etc. I have wheat issues but gluten seems…

Niacin does it to me every single time too. I have pcos and food allergies too but I dont know those make a difference much with the flushing. But Niacin! OMG i feel like im on fire and look like I got sunburn in my face for a good couple hours.

Hun, I deal with, in and around crazy everyday. Crazy is a fun place to be! But seriously, I know it is annoying and can be disheartening but you are working for your health. You are getting better. Look at how far you've come! You are teaching doctors about PCOS, the anomalies that can come with it and learning yourself…

Crockpot! Seriously, you can cook anything in there all day. Sausage soup, pork loin, chicken, quiche, casserole, etc Lots of good recipes out there for low carb crockpot recipes and you can let it cook all day and then dinner is ready and your house smells good when you walk in the door.

What WOE are you on? I know for many the LCHF has helped so very much with the cravings and they've actually been able to eat more calories than on a normal SAD WOE and still lost weight. Just a thought.
-
Same here. Love and Hugs, Or Hugs and Bacon, depending on which sounds better. <3 Auto immune sucks, ive had issues since I was 25 but the LCHF/Keto WOE helps so very much. My one thought is, your new WOE is clearing things up so you can find the rest of what's wrong and fix that too. The high carb diet might have masked a…

How does theirs work? At costco, it is $99 for a premium membership but they give you 2% back on all purchases except gas. At the end of your membership year, they give you back your money if your 2% wasnt more than the $50 more it cost for the premium membership over the regular membership, so you dont lose any money…

I...I...I didnt even know there was an option for 'everyone's' bacon. Always thought it was all mine! There are two ways you can go with this. Either say "Bacon, My bacon!" in Bubbles voice from Finding Nemo. Or you can go geek and say "All your bacon are belong to me"
-
I vote for this group also. Great ladies there, you'll find friends, info and links to more info and even doctors who understand PCOS. Lot of women there with the same issues, including IR, there.

We had a Sams until Costco moved in. Now we do costco for the organic and grass fed options they provide. We buy toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent, lunch meat, sliced cheese, shredded cheese, block cheese, flax seed, organic canned goods, frozen organic fruits and veggies, antibiotic free beef, chicken and…

Well for starters, start taking Metformin and/or Inositol to help bring those insulin levels down. She has PCOS also, and with PCOS your insulin wont usually lower with diet alone. High insulin messes up your hormones, your periods, your ability to have children etc so getting it under control as soon as you can is very…

You should be able to find them at Whole Foods or Trader Joes or even Kroger/Ralphs (depending on what it is called where you are). Walmart probably not.

Zevia is the most common and easiest to find brand of stevia soda. There is also some green teas with fruit extracts with stevia that are pretty good. My daughter cant handle much aspartame without getting a really bad headache so we let her drink the stevia ones once in awhile.

Quite a few of us do LCHF or some variation of it. we are here: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/394-low-carber-daily-forum-the-lcd-group Great group that welcomes anyone lowering their carbs.

Hmm ours carries none at the moment, not since they quit carrying the Horizon brand. I end up going to Whole Foods and getting cream there, but it is like $7 for a half gallon and we go thru 3-4 of those a month. Gets expensive. Wish Costco would bring back the cream!
-
Does your costco still carry HWC? Ours used to, in the Horizon brand and now they dont carry it at all! So annoying as it is so very very expensive elsewhere.

Ive had a smart phone for over 6 years now, and I can honestly say this is the ONLY app I've ever purchased. And I purchased all the addons and seasons and even The Walk by the same people. It satisfies my need for exercise and my geeky gaming need all at the same time!

It is only for 30 days and you can stop anytime you want during that time if you feel ill or that it is wrong for you.
-
I dont know about cordless but we got a cheap $15 off amazon that broke the first day. Then we got a $50 Kitchenaid one for $30 at costco and that thing is a workhorse! We love it. We make mayo and mustard with it but it mostly gets used for BPC. I use a quart widemouth canning jar to mix my coffee in. It is tall and thin,…

I dont have advice either, but also sending you lots of sympathy and hugs. I have PCOS and have been there done that so many times. I have so much empathy for you!
