How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days except I didn't want to :(
-
I get you girl! This has happened to me and it had to do with the fact that I was putting in soo much effort and working so hard and it didn't feel like the weight was coming off fast enough. My friends on the other hand could do so much less and be fine so it's just frustration

Start Date: 7/31/12 Projected End: 9/30/12 Following Nutrition Guide: I'll be following MFP's calories Starting weight(with Insanity): not sure yet but probably 266 Goal Weight(hoping to reach after completion): anything lower than 266 :) I'm going to be a late starter on here. Gotta get my heart rate monitor first and…

fast food originated in the 50's, not 70's fat people do not encourage others to be fat...sometimes fat people eat the same as thinner people but have pre-existing conditions or hello, just a slower metabolism? in a perfect world, fast food, chocolate, etc might be totally eliminated but chances are you are going to have…

feeling like the weight is not coming off fast enough! I've adopted all these healthy habits but still stuck in this not-so-healthy-looking body...and I didn't ever feel my fat was a problem until I started losing it and saw what I COULD and SHOULD look like.

cooking dinner before actually counting the calories. chicken breast with cream of mushroom soup and a small baked potato just racked up 600 calories (the chicken breast is huge and I tend to overguesstimate just in case but still)

sooo motivating to hear that these dark spots fade once the weight is lost!

I'm 280lbs and mfp only gives me 1550. I've set my activity level to sedentary so I can eat back any calories burned from exercise. Are you sure your setting isn't on some super high activity level?

I'm a 22 year old social college student who had the saaaame problem at the beginning of my calorie counting. Bottom line: you have to own your weight loss. How badly do you want this? My friends would always give me crap about trying to eat well and how it was no use because we were just gonna party it up later and gain…

Just my two cents. I have health insurance through my university so I was in the process of getting bariatric surgery (for a very low cost) just this past October. I thought it would be great because I would have a smaller stomach and therefore have to watch what I eat less. How wrong I was. You keep more freedoms in your…

I've always loved my fat self. It wasn't hard to become socially well-adjusted always having a great social life and even being on a sports team in high school (water polo at that...my fat self in a bathing suit without a care). I have to lose weight for my health but I've never felt unattractive or unwanted. And I love to…

I have it too. I just use tweezers or threading. Not really much we can do about it until our hormones stop screwing with us!

we have very similar body types so this was especially inspiring for me! I just started out on here around 300lbs and I'm excited to lose weight this year alongside someone so amazing as yourself

I thought I could never go without sugar until I started with this site. My mom even hid all the sweets at her house when I visited her because she thought I'd be too tempted. Fruits usually provide enough of a sugar satisfaction for me now. If not, fudgesicles have 40 calories per bar, creamsicles are 100, dark chocolate…

This topic makes me upset because alcohol has soo many calories and it takes a larger person such as myself so much more of it to feel anything. That being said, you can still enjoy yourself! I usually stick to vodka shots and diet coke backs. Pre-game at your house with skinny margarita mix or 0 calorie caramel syrup (I…

What's really helped me is to always pack a Luna bar to fight off hunger. It is very filling for only 190 calories and gives you time to think about your next step. I cannot think/plan when I'm hungry haha

If there's people working fatkini's, you can most def rock a bikini!

thanks for your advice! I only used a basic online water calculator to determine how many ounces I need and wasn't sure if it was too much. It definitely shocked my body at first
-
I know how you feel. I never get thirsty. But, I have been forcing myself to drink 5 liters of water per day. They say you take half your body weight and that's how many ounces you need per day. You might have diarrhea or nausea for a couple days but you get used to it and it really does curb your appetite/flush the fat…

I have PCOS so I totally understand your motivation! Feel free to add me if you need more support. Only been on here 10 days but I feel great, am making progress, and cannot imagine eating the way I did before. Good luck to you!

Just sear each side then bake in the oven. Burgers do fine just cooking in their own juices.

I'm a senior at University of California, Berkeley majoring in Social Welfare. Hit me up if you're a fellow bear!

Serious thanks to everyone's advice! I told them that health/weight loss is a very sensitive topic for me and I'd prefer if they didn't make comments about my eating habits. They seemed to respect what I said, and to one of the above posters, it does get easier the more you say no. I also love this website haha :)

Congratulations!!! And I'm incredibly impressed with the no sugar! That is a hard one to break.
