Tuesday is my weigh in day. SW Nov 13 190 (GW 179) CW Nov 20 188 CW Nov 27 187 CW Dec 4 185 Down 5 pounds. 6 to go CW Dec 11 182 ( had a terrible cold and didnt eat much so this may be temporary.) Anyway 3 to go. CW Dec 17 180 ( an entire week of family ( food) gatherings coming up.

Actually, it has been updated. It is now the 12 days of feasting. Yep looking at the calendar we now have a "dinner/get together/whatever/come visit us" everyday for the 12 days from Dec 20th to Dec 31. If I keep it under a 10 pound gain I will thrilled. Merry Christmas everyone.

I just received an enormous Godiva chocolate basket . A year ago, I would have opened it on the spot. Now, I am trying to get everyone who enters the house to eat some of it it.

So far so good. Doing calorie cycling or up days, down days and IMF so I can survive the many parties and gatherings. Lost 4.5 pounds this month but the hard part starts Thursday with 5 food filled days in the next week. Keep at it my friends. January will be easier because EVERYONE will be dieting. :-)

Each person is different. I personally, like to eat less the day before and day after when going over.( We have staff potlucks and fat Fridays , so I know when I may be going over). I ended this round down 14 pounds over the 7 weeks. I lost the first round, then tanked for rounds 2 and 3 gaining a few pounds each time due to overeating (vacations/celebrations). I worked hard this round knowing that the next month will be difficult.

Ended the challenge 14 pounds down (over 7 weeks). The holiday parties ( ie food fests ) have begun with another tonight. So if I am anywhere near this weight (within 3-5 pounds on Jan 5th, I will be thrilled)

This! I have cut back on almost all processed /refined sugars but eat 2-4 servings of fruit a day and am losing.

My advice...try it and see if it works for you. People can tell us about their experiences but you are the one stepping on the scale in your bathroom every week. Into the homestretch. Down 12 pounds. Put an extra effort into this round as the holidays are quickly approaching. My non stop food filled get togethers begin this Tuesday and continue to Jan 3rd. Yikes..
