I'm in the 120s!
-
With respect - this is all incorrect. Muscle weighs the same as fat, it just takes up less space. However you can't gain muscle whilst on a deficit anyway - you can only lose fat (and possibly even lose lean muscle mass) And starvation mode is BS.
-
I'm in exactly the same boat - the only way to go is just keep on with the logging and eating at a modest deficit. Do weight training and just be patient - it's the last bit of fat to go but it will come off eventually.
-
If you maintain a deficit of 500 calories a day / 3500 a week you WILL lose a pound a week. If you're not, it's because you're not maintaining the deficit you think you are - either by over estimating calories burnt, under estimating calories consumed OR your start point (your TDEE) is lower than you think, therefore…

Those legs! You look smokin!

My diary is open - I do indulge in the occasional processed item (veggie sausages usually!) and sometimes my diary entries may look like a pre-prepared shop bought option but that is just lazy logging on my part of something homemade that I have searched form something similar in the database.

Those slimy "zero calorie" noodles - YUCK.

My BMR is around 1400 I believe. My net calorie goal is 1450 which is roughly a 15% deficit on my maintenance. I often go up to 100 calories over this and am still losing weight at a slow pace, which is cool as I am almost at my goal and so I see myself as in semi-maintenece anyway. It's more important for me to feel that…

HALLELUJAH, someone speaks sense.

Organic from the supermarket is overpriced. I get all my produce and dairy from an organic supplier delivered to my house and I actually save money on my grocery bills from before.
-
Really hoping to break into the 120s soon! Been on 130 for over 2 weeks now - come on 120s!
-
Stretching and more exercise!
-
Read the success stories forum.
-
Organic cream is also a healthy source of fat!
-
So unnecessary!

I don't think any clean eater is really gong to mind that a bone has been removed from a chicken breast. Sure it does come under the definition of "processed" - but it's still just pure chicken with or without a bone in it. My personal definition is nothing artificial added. By artificial I mean ingredients that don't…

Yes it is!

Hate it when people say "how did you do it" with regards to my weightloss.. I did it the only possible way: calories out was less than calories in - via a combination of diet and exercise.
-
Current weight 130 - goal 125 My goal is 1450 NET - I hit this or go over by 100 or so and am losing about 0.5lb a week. The last 5lb is coming off slowly but as long as I don't gain now I'll be happy. I eat back all my exercise calories (using a HRM). I eat as much as I can whilst still losing!!

This!

I think Japan, China and India must have missed the memo about white rice being unhealthy LOL.
-
Animal fats are not unhealthy. If the cream comes from a grass fed cow and is organic what would make that any more unhealthy than olive oil or peanut butter?
-
Handily summarised into one syllable that everyone understands the meaning of! Don't understand the stupid snobbery on here about this word.
-
I'm desperate for the 120s - any day now! Good work - congrats!
-
I will happily eat sausages if they are organic and don't contain artificial ingredients - I know they're technically "processed" but it's nothing I couldn't recreate myself if I was so inclined!
-
All that means is that your numbers are wrong. If eating back your exercise calories is causing you to gain weight then you aren't at the deficit you think you are.
-
Really? Get over it haha!

Can I just say a decent hot wax Brazilian actually doesn't hurt that much - if the therapist is skilled it's over in 5 minutes and isn't even red. It really should be the thick wax that sets and is pulled straight off, not the stuff spread on with wooden sticks and pulled off with cloth strips. That's not suitable for…

Sounds totally reasonable to me - low doses of Diazepam are used to treat anxiety and panic attacks. Higher doses are prescribed for sleep. Maybe you do need them if you're that paranoid about your doctor getting kick backs from a drug company??

Stop eating diet food and start eating a healthy balanced diet.
