Teeth (mom was a dental assistant so teeth were a big deal in my household, lol), face, hair, clothing, build.

Definitely soda. I've become very conscious of calories I drink. I'm a big wine person also, and I've cut back on it as well, but I tell you what. If work's been hella awful, I'm having my darn glass of wine. lol.

I eat back some of my exercise calories; at least enough to net 1200 calories per day. The idea behind this (and some people promote this and others claim it's hogwash) is that the average body needs at least 1200 calories a day to keep vital organs functioning. To eat under 1200 for an extended period may do damage to the…

A bit of dark chocolate. ^^ A little every now and then is ok.

I use two workout videos: Jane Fonda's Step Aerobic and Abdominal Workout; it's a VHS that my mom got when it first came out (1992). I love it. http://www.amazon.com/Jane-Fondas-Aerobic-Abdominal-Workout/dp/6302872162/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1343174317&sr=8-8&keywords=jane+fonda+fitness+dvd I also have Turbo Jam Live! Booty…

-More time in the gym, not just my once-a-week Flirty Fitness class. -Actually make time for friends; don't be so against going out and actually enjoying the time I have in college. -WRITE. I have a thesis due in mid-spring, and defense of it afterwards. This is no 'write the week before' paper. GET IT DONE. -Be more…

When I started retail work ,I dropped 10 lbs quickly, as I was used to sitting on my butt all day instead of standing. Now that I've been doing that for 1.5 years, my body could care less about it. I had to add extra exercise to shake my body up out of its routine to jump start weight loss again.

I think one of the questions you gotta ask yourself is, does having sex get your heart rate up high enough and long enough to have an actual cardio effect on your body? Best way to test this, wear a HRM one time to see how many calories you do end up burning. I'd say, if it's significant, log it. ^^

Splat is a brand of hair color I know (I used it's unnatural red), so maybe that's it?
-
Base colors: all shades of brown, all shades of red, black. Highlights: Ash blonde, purple, blue, unnatural red, green, pink. Currently: A warm brown with ash blonde highlights on top, with purple on my longest layer in the back, and purple and pink in the under layer on my bangs.

The great thing about those types of threads... You don't have to participate if you don't want to/don't feel comfortable with them. ^_^

That is a really good idea. Don't get me wrong, she knows way more about cooking than I do, and we often cook Korean food in the house (which is pretty low fat if you're eating the traditional, heavy-fruit heavy-veggie dishes). I do have some spices in the cabinet I used like ONCE for a dish I was trying; could possibly…

I may have to let her fry something then, lol. Just have to keep her from doing it EVERY day. And unfortunately, I', not a huge fan of corn tortillas, but I may just have to suck it up and go that route.

Correct! Took a linguistics class, which is very interesting, though boring at times. The simple fact is languages tend to begin very complex and gradually become easier. Ever look at Middle English? It's readable and understandable (though guidance may help for some archaic terms or usage of words), but many words that…

I've had two friends join and another stranger ask me about MFP. After my weight loss and exercise posts were also put on Facebook, a close friend and a professor of mine ended up joining. The other night a co-worker was trying to coax me into have a Reese's peanut butter cup, which is over 200 calories per cup. I told her…

Every time I come back to this thread I re-check my post. Labeling myself as a graduate student, and especially of literature, and THEN to have a grammar mistake. Heaven, help me, that would be awful. Lol.

From the knowledge I've gathered reading around MFP, it could be two things. Water retained to help rebuild muscle, which someone's already mentioned. Drink more water to flush the old water out and keep your body from thinking it needs to horde or 'retain' the water for muscle repair. You're gaining more muscle, which, by…

Chronic leg bouncer while sitting at a desk (doing it now, lol). And when I watch TV in bed or get on the laptop while lying down, I flex and unflex my butt really fast. No idea why. Lol, usually about the same speed as my leg bouncing. I know, I know. I'm weird.

-pets OP- It's okay, I feel your pain. Grad student of lit currently. One day, the whole English-speaking world will learn, or so we can hope.

Not sure what the guy's (girl's?) doing, but I'm thinking something to do with leg lifts?

Yes, a breed originally bred as 'nanny dogs' has their instincts take over to baby sit the runner passing by them. /sarcasm Regrettably, it seems the owner of this particular pit did not train/socialize their dog correctly. It is important to report this type of thing to the authorities, even if it ends up putting the dog…
