Way to go! I am also doing our Turkey Run this year. I run on the treadmill all the time, but this will be my first event to participate in. I am doing it with a bunch of family so I am excited.

I did it. I hated it. I lost a bunch at first, but then I actually started gaining while only eating 500 cal. I don't know how that is possible. I also always felt hungry which made it hard. I love Luna bars for breakfast with an apple or banana. Also a great snack is Healthy Choice Fudge bars! They are so good and only 100 calories.

Oh I wish! :) We've been trying but I am not yet. As for the other responses... thanks. I have been taking a multi-vitamin. But I will try a few different things.

I always weigh myself first thing in the morning (after I have gone to the bathroom of course ;) ) The evenings you'll generally weigh more because you have ate and drank food all day.

I try to eat them. But sometimes I cannot, especially when I workout late and then have a lot of calories at night. I need to learn to spread out my calories if I am going to get a good workout in in the evening. But for the most part I usually eat about half.

I had to say hi, mostly because my name is Rachael, I am 23 and I started out with 27 lbs. to lose! :) Anyway, this site is fantastic. It is exactly what I needed for success. I am a visual person, so seeing what I am putting into my body and also how exercise effects it really helps motivate me. Good luck!!

Thanks. I did actually document less than what the hrm told me because I do know that I burn 100 cal an hour without doing much. Also, I was working up a sweat throwing punch, and jumping around the house. :) It was fun.

I love Bryan Kest's Power Yoga. It is one DVD that has 3 different workouts each 1 hour long. Now you just have to get past the fact that he is a bit silly...(which actually makes it more entertaining). But the workouts are great, and I think it's a good deal getting 3 workouts in 1 DVD. It does work. I did the 30 Day Shred/ Mixed with Jillan's 50 minute workouts(Banish Fat, Boost Metabolism/ No More Trouble Zones) about 3 times a week (+I ate well) and I was losing 1-2 lbs. a week. I love how hard core she is and how I can feel sore after on 20 minutes! Good luck.

I love all of them. But I really like how I feel after doing the No More Trouble Zones. I always feel sore in all the right places. :) Thanks for the comments.
