Thank you all!

Are you getting plenty of fats in your diet still?

I'd guess it's water weight due to being dehydrated.

HA! That's awesome that you served offal! I really want to try offal, but I am a bad cook and I fear messing it up. Maybe I can make offal nachos...

Wow. This is a total train-wreck of a thread. I had no idea women were so complicated, and I am one! For god's sake. If I'm on a first date, I have no problem offering to pay if I asked him out, or offering to go dutch if he asked me. Whether he accepts or not, I don't care. It's not a deal-breaker. I know how to change a…

Once your body adjusts to the increased fiber, the gas will taper off. In the meantime, always stand downwind so as not to offend.

Probably due to extra sweat. Shower immediately after exercising and exfoliate once or twice a week.

I have a 2010 Fit (base model) and am in total love with my car. The Fit always tops Consumer Reports rankings for safety, I average about 34 mpg between street and highway, the car is comfy, very spacious, etc. I LOVE it. Best car I've ever had.

Allsturns, love that picture! My dog is on a raw diet. Finally got a deep freezer and a processing plant connection, so she's been eating venison (that I got for free!) for weeks and probably has enough to last until next hunting season. Plus organs from other critters. Love raw feeding.

Are you sure you aren't thinking of Torrid? Smallest size LB carries is 14/16. Torrid has wonky sizing.

I prefer primal because I enjoy cheese on some things, and heavy whipping cream in my coffee. And eating at restaurants on this eating plan is easy - every place has a menu option with some kind of meat and accompanying veggies.

Speak for yourself. Sometimes a compliment is just a compliment with no underlying motive. Personally I like when strangers tell me I'm lovely - it throws me for a loop and really brightens my day.

She hasn't had a POP in two weeks.

If you're still planning on eating fish and chicken occasionally, you're not going to be a vegetarian...? Regarding carbs, just load up on veggies instead of pasta or bread. Why are you cutting out dairy?

JAZ is right - 9 months is too young. You should wait until they're a couple years old before going jogging with them so their bones have time to finish developing. Running and playing on grass freely is one thing - jogging on concrete is another.

Don't worry, tomorrow should suck more. ;-) I only say that as I'm on my day 2 post-workout pain. Just keep moving, keep your muscles warm and stretched. And love the fact that your muscles obviously got a workout. :-)

I just don't understand the fascination some people have with criticizing somebody else's diet. I'm eating Primally (put simply, paleo plus dairy) and I've never felt healthier. Yes, I'm losing weight, a touch over a pound a week. But you know what the best part is for me? My blood sugar no longer plummets within a couple…

I generally take in about 1700-1800 calories a day. Sometimes higher, sometimes (rarely!) lower. I've been primal for 3 months now and calculated that I've lost 14 lbs! Not the drastic weight loss a lot of people experience with this eating style, but steady, which I will take. I'm thrilled I'm able to lose on this high…

Why can't you pack any food to take with you? If for some odd reason that's completely unfeasible, I'd stick to jerky, yogurt and fruit from the gas stations. Trail mix would be decent as long as you don't get one with scads of chocolate. Nuts are good.

I do Primal as it's less restrictive than Paleo in that it allows small amounts of dairy. Even with that, I still cheat every so often (and regret it later!). I find Primal very easy to maintain as I love the foods I'm eating.

I'm a little pissed at Fitbit right now as I've been using it for years, but just within the past couple weeks it has stopped synchronizing with its charging station. It'll charge, but not synch. They said some Mac users are experiencing this problem. Well, that's great, what are you doing to fix it? I now have a $99 piece…

Welcome! Great job in losing the weight - you must feel fantastic!

Ginger tea might be a good idea, as is the chicken broth. I feel it moving into my chest so I should hit the grocery on the way home to get what I need in case tomorrow or the day after is a sick day. Ugh!

Thank you! I know honey is pretty much pure sugar so I wasn't sure if I should aim to avoid it.

Nothing sexier than a man in a well-fitted suit. Avoid double-breasted suits - they add weight.

I'm undecided because I disagree heavily with both candidates on some issues, and agree with both candidates on others. So what I need to figure out is which issues matter the most to me. I may vote third party just to not have to vote for either of these yahoos.

I started the C25K the same time I started wearing my Vibrams and it was WONDERFUL. I was easing into running and easing into minimal shoes. What a difference from when I used to try running in traditional professionally-fitted shoes - no shin splints, no ankle pain, no knee pain.

I thank god on a regular basis I got it from the library for my Kindle and didn't actually waste a single cent on it. I was on a trip with friends and reading it in my downtime, and they were laughing at me 'cause I'd keep groaning, "my GOD, how much longer is this dragging on???" And then I also cheered when I ended it. I…
