I've been keeping a spreadsheet on my computer, kind of as a supplement to the app. Just a basic listing of the date, exercises and weights.
-
Yep. I checked the app's website and they flatout said it's not compatible with 7. They're working on an upgrade. :-P

I'M BACK!!! Lifted tonight for the first time in nearly three weeks. I did some major deloading just to be safe. Squats 70lbs, OHP 55lbs, Deadlift 115lbs. Was hard, but not hard enough to discourage me from getting back on track. Felt good. :-)

Look at that hiney in the flexed picture! *whistles*
-
Nice setup!
-
Thank you all! I appreciate all the compliments! Sometimes it's harder for me to notice what others are seeing. :-)

Welcome! Sent you a friend request!

Thanks ladies! And thanks for your feedback, Kerri!

I'm going to tack an extra question on. I was looking at some blogs that post lots of pics of female powerlifters, and in a ton of the pictures of the bench press the women's backs are MAJORLY arched. I know I'm supposed to have some arch, but should I be trying to touch my butt to my shoulder blades to get a huge arch?
-
Wow. You're totally my hero!
-
Thanks!!!
-
Can you get a space heater to run while you're lifting? Might at least cut the freezingness a LITTLE.

Sent you a friend request. :-)

Thanks, LL!

Monster, thank you for the feedback/tips on my deadlift! I like the idea of tucking my shoulder blades into my back pockets. Easy to visualize. :-)
-
I know! It really is exciting! LOL I can't wait for the next four weeks to pass!

Really struggled with my lifting tonight. I kept all weights the same but things just felt heavy. And my form felt sloppy, which is probably why everything felt so freaking heavy. I almost didn't do it. I'm glad I did it, just for consistency, but it isn't one I'm proud of. :-P Squats - 90 lbs Bench - 75 lbs Rows - 90 lbs

When I first started the SL program, I didn't really sweat and wondered if it was working. Now, 4 1/2 weeks later, I sweat like a beast and am huffing & puffing because you add weight so quickly (as you are capable). I have trouble squatting deep enough with just the bar, so I hung out at 75 lbs for a while to work on…

Kick *kitten*!

Thank you!

Welcome!!!

That's honestly good to know. You don't really think about things like that.
-
I was also noticing that my head isn't in a straight line. Wasn't sure how critical that is for the DL?
-
Thanks, Aidasmom!

Thanks for the image references in SS. I love that book.

I lucked out on Craigslist and got a bench/rack and 300 lbs of weights for $200. Then I had a friend's husband build me a power cage (pics are in the thread entitled "Behold!").

Yes, I have short little T-Rex arms and long legs. Very disproportionate, LOL. Thank you for the tips - I'll definitely focus on chest up. That's becoming a common theme for me to work on with each move, LOL. And regarding grip width, my hands touch the outside of my thighs when I'm upright. Is that right? Thanks!

Great googly moogly! What a difference! I love this post!

Thank you all! And NO! My clothes aren't fitting differently yet! I swear to god they increase or decrease size with me. :-P

Thanks for all the compliments on my rack! LOL
