I have PCOS as well...and I "think" what they are trying to say is due to the fact that PCOS and Insulin resistance often go hand in hand then she is going to have a harder time metabolizing carbs due to the insulin resistance factor of the disorder...not necessarily the reproductive hormone issues. :)
